The Legacy Bulkhead mold works so much better as Soundwave as it does as TFP Breakdown it's not even funny. Also love the reimagining of Laser Prime's missle spam as subwoofers, that Blaster really do be blastin'!
Interesting concepts. When I get my hand on the target prime, I plan to turn him into a cybertron galaxy force Optimus. You know, that red and black variant?
Absoluetly love it. I would have genuinely excepted this Soundwave as an offical alternative truck mode for soundwave. If it was possible change the tarp to look like radio, stealth and general computer equipment, maybe some soundspeakers, just to give him more of spy truck look to him. or maybe just paint the tarp in army grey camo to have a big of contrast to the rest of the truck. both 10/10 customs.
These are both really cool. I've been wanting to see Blaster get a Earth vehicle mode and I've always seen him as a very tricked out sports car, but the truck just works so well and that Soundwave feels like a good in-between of G1 and R.I.D. 2015 which may be my favorite Soundwave. So like getting that feel from this.
i wasnt sure if i liked it or not but i love it now, jus a really cool take on em. n they compliment each other so well. i do think u need better studio lights tho, ur set up doesnt do them justice
It was used in an SG Breakdown custom I haven't got around to talking about yet. I did SG Bulkhead as well from a second Breakdown body (with the head going to a friend). That miiight be a double review in the future like this? We'll see. Just isn't too much to talk about for either custom.
@alexlemonds2838 The bigger surprise here is its a super rare moment I do something that's kinda G1, and not like a Bayverse design in a Generations style or something like that. They're G1 characters with new alt modes. Kind of a fun departure.
@anthonymuzyczek They'd be hard to do as a commission just because you'd have toget a 2 pack for one figure, a Target exclusive, and just the heads from two other toys. That alone would make these well over $100 unless you can provide them.

@boo-dl1lx My setup is a bit smaller these days as I don't have a separate table anymore. I think it works fine currently though for what I need.
