Nikon should really rename 'Silent mode' to 'Stealth mode'. It describes the mode much better. Lots of people are confused why their flash won't fire in Silent mode.
I read somewhere that Z9 has dual gain ISO.....this means that it has two base ISO, 100 and 500.
Meaning at both 100 and 500 the grains would be same. Is this true. Can you acknowledge.
If only there were some way to silence the loud VR clunk.
Yes that's very loud when you are in a silent retrait making pictures... Disable VR or turn up C3.
The back screen doesn’t show anything in particular. Is it possible to aim at something definite, like a puppet or nature morte or a glass of orange juice, something with bright colours?
Hello JJ,
Thank you for your message.
To understand your question better, are you wanting to know if the Z 9 can focus on smaller subjects or subjects with more detailed colour and saturation, from the display monitor, in Live View mode?
Looking forward to your response.
If you need to be totally silent, turn of VR.
