I would prefer the GX470. Especially with the mods you added. It completely changes the look of the vehicle. I own a similar build of your GX. When modified, they absolutely stand out above everything else. You see 4runners and jeeps absolutely everywhere. But GX470, such as yours, is just fresh and different. You don't see them all over like you do with the 4runners.
What’s the mileage for 9-10k vs the 20-22k versions of the GX? Assuming regular maintenance and timing belt is documented (if not the belt is a 1-2k max negotiation point anyway)
Mileage appears to be just factor among many when buying these things. The carfax, maintenance history, rust level, interior and exterior condition appear to be equally important to mileage. Of any 3 of those factors are good… they begin to teeter over 15K I’ve noticed. Mileage points range between 130-220K atm. People seem to be more concerned about when timing has been done and by whom.
Too bad my experience with the brand was subpar with a 2019 Tacoma. My one and only Toyota experience to date. Oh well. Glad it’s someone else’s problem now. Once bitten, twice shy, therefore having a difficult time considering the brand again. Guess I missed their peak.

Bad Ass video your Lexus is so legit I love it!! So cool to see a UA-cam guy sticking with an older high mileage vehicle 🔥🔥🔥
I would pick the GX470 💯

Agreed! Although I’ve personally really liked GXs I never realized how much attention they bring. This thing turns head everywhere I go.
Can’t go wrong with either one brother !!
Amen to that 🙌
GX because of the 2UZ-FE which is the GOAT.
Love the Gx so nice
Both are great. The Lexus is so well made, it will stand the test of time! Any other videos coming before Christmas? 🎄
Yeah I’ll have 1-2 more out this week! =]
Thank you for tuning in man, I appreciate your support! 🙏
@ anytime! You deserve our support. A blessed Christmas to you and yours!
@ Thanks a ton brother! I appreciate you. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
My pick is the 4Runner. Im just not a fan of the exterior design of the GX470.
Hey untamed could you find out where your friend got the trd skid with the access panel for oil changes? I need one tks
Yeah he went to a place online called Cartrimhome (think they’re based out of Canada).
GX & it’s not even close. Most don’t leave the pavement, so Best preowned 4WD value by far.
Hey @untamed reviews what aftermarket headlights are they?
Hey man, I’m pretty sure he said they were TRQ headlights 👌
Wow your GX is sexy. That’s the gem for me
Do you have a lift on the GX boss? I know people usually scrap the airbags in the rear.
I do. It has Eibach springs with Bilstein 5100 shocks…. Freedom off road UCAs. 👍

@ well said. I’m seeing many 220+ asking 12k++ though they are not moving..
