By definition, it shouldn't exist. Yandere are mentally ill people in the sense that the only "cure" that exists is to be kept in a mental asylum. People have deformed the term so far that yanderes sound like merely obsessed people. It's actually a whole level beyond most audios we see on youtube, including most of Velvet's yandere videos. Pillowdear ASMR's old videos are a good example of what yandere RPs should be like. Zoey Moonblood's videos are another example of what yanderes are. Her Ferret GF series' 2nd video shows pretty well the difference between "refusing" and "accepting" a yandere's love.
Just reading through the tags is a emotional rollercoaster, starts out wholesome and fun, gets a bit spicy, adds a dash of suspense with the possibility of the cat not being ok, before finally dropping us at the cliffhanger. Peak fiction here ladies and gentlemen

@@VanillaVelvetAudio I really liked your story telling during this, des seems like a fully fleshed out character with their own passions and goals outside of just “yandere” combine that with the story line where quite a few of the details are up to the listeners imagination plus the suspenseful ending Absolutely loved it, thanks so much for the effort and I’m looking forward to a part2 if you have the time Oh and needing a therapist was a great call out for our character having a “troubled” past as well
At the beginning I've said to myself "huh, wouldn't that be funny if we were also a yandere? Maybe a recovered one so we can relate with her" but I guess the policeman's reaction kinda confirms it. Amazing audio as always, can't wait for the sequel.
I'm not into the normal aggressive yandere really, though I do enjoy the rare "gentle", self-aware, shy, or submissive yanderes. Recovering yandere can be added to that as well now, this was a fantastic RP. Hoping that there is a continuation at some point.
@@VanillaVelvetAudio I think it could be done. Most of the imagery going through my head through all of the audio seems to have been heavily based on what I remember from the Tenchi! Muyo series. Also, I really liked the sound effects suite you chose. Especially the sliding sci-fi door effect (it's probably my favorite sci-fi sound effect off FreeSound, and I've used it many and many a time.) I think I recognized a few other sounds as well, though I couldn't be sure of a positive ID. Also also...in the scene where the listener is being walked down to Desiree's cell, I was expecting a much more drawn-out sound effects sequence...multiple vault doors, guards, scans, and all the bells and whistles of a trip to a maximum-security yandere containment cell...so much so, in fact, that mentally I was able to cram in all the special effects anyway. In conclusion...I still think this needs to be animated, but you did an excellent job bringing the audio part to life.
I'm hoping to get into animation at some point, and if I ever manage to have enough time, I would love to animate this along with a few other ASMR videos I've seen, with permission of course.
Animating something like this would be cool. I really hope I get into animating someday, because I honestly would love to make an animation for this so much as well as a few other ASMR audios I've seen, same with the meme ASMR audios! I could put some more background sounds and features in the animation, with the creators permission of course, but I think it could be done too.
Okay, this is just the best. I definitely need more of it. In less of an hour I'm more attached to her than most of the fictional characters I know for years. Incredible job, thanks to make this masterpiece exists !

It was legit on my mind from the start, we might be another recovered yandere from what she says with the not being loved back. Or we are still one and that never recovered and is in disguise

Oh my gosh this one was so good and I am so full of feels! My heart broke for the poor girl - yes, some Yanderes are extremely violent and volatile, but to be treated like that? It's worse than animals! I'm glad she found a better home with us - someone who will support her through recovery and show her what it means to be loved and cared for. (Side note: I get we're a "recovered" Yandere, but are we *sure* we can't pay her parents a visit? It'd be quick.. for us.)

The character progression over this "year" felt so wholesome. When they said "go back inside, I don't want you to be sick" it just showed how much trust was formed and how much growth was behind the character. It felt so fresh for someone who listened to a lot of RP asmr over the past few years. I really appreciate your effort in this!
Honestly at the end I can practically picture the "listener" staring at the officer in that Terrence style. The plot twist being that the listener was actually a full recovered Yandere themselves, and one of the most bloodthirsty, clever and dangerous ones. That's why when the cop recognized them he went full "I gottadostuffbye"
I was daydreaming the whole audio abt the adopter being an ex-yandere who made it real big in life afterwards, the ending just reinforced my suspicions 👀
I love torties. I have one named Zullie, found her around halloween. She was a kitten playing around in the leaves on my porch. I'd never had a cat before, but it felt magical and now I'm her favorite human.
Awww a few years back i adopted 2 sick kittens who where in a cat nest behind our shed. We nurses them back to health and dicided to keep them we called them Ollie and Dollie they have a lower tolerance to sickness. And nowadays Ollie has had to have an eye removed but they are absolutely loving life and I love those little critters. And god are they quirky I swear just 'cause they grew up around our dogs they seem to think they themselves are dogs sometimes. after wards we got a pup at some point and they play with him and even clean him sometimes. It's adorable.
I'm committed to helping those in need. I will take care of as many people as I can and do right by them. Consider it me righting my wrongs and continuing what Padmé fought for: peaceful and fulfilling lives for the galaxy! I'm glad you liked it! This was an absolute bear to produce! And as for Noodle, nope! I've never cast him in a cat role in any audio. He was a very isolated shelter cat, left unwanted for several years--he's kind of funny looking, a huge and awkward Oriental Shorthair/Tabby mix with a broken ear, which I ~guess~ was undesirable to other potential adopters--and when I got him I was quite surprised that he never meowed! He does now, very occasionally, but only when he's desperate to go sit outside for a minute--but the meow is still an absolute last resort, a distant second to coming to sit on my head and purr, or gently bat me in the face until I let him go on the porch.

Omg it's like my mind's being read, most videos about comforting yanderes role the listener as all mildly disturbed and uncomfy with the yan when it's like "NO I wanted this! Why aren't I being nice?!" but here it's like the thing I'm thinking of happens almost immediately as I think of it like reminding the yandere to breathe and rubbing their back to calm them down and just hecking being wholesome. It's so refreshing and nice that there's nothing mean or untoward from the yandere or the listener, there's nothin' weird or wrong about a relationship where ya both just want what's best for each other's mental health and genuinely care about each other's feelings and understand the whys of the feels and where those feels come from. This is downright beautiful scripting as well as voice acting too of course, also mega immersive that I relate to the character that is the listener alot, lol

Recovering yandere is something I've wanted to hear for a while but I've only ever found a few audios on it. I love the idea of helping someone overcome their demons and become a better person.
My word, I'm in awe with the voice acting in this RP. This may be one of the few rp's that can be considered a work of art - everything from the character building to the emotion in the dialogue is absolutely amazing. It impresses me every time I come across an ASMR as unique as this. Incredible work!!!

This entire concept in just as crazy as the people they are supposed to be “rehabilitating”, i am 100% down for this concept. You also seem to do a good job at capturing the concept of what it’s like inside some peoples heads when they get attached to someone even when they don’t want too. Having been there myself, I wanted to say thanks, on behalf of myself and anyone else who struggled like that. It’s got a uniquely soothing quality due to the understanding nature. Though perhaps I’m the only one that feels that way.
An impressive performance! You really sold how positively skittish and emotionally traumatized Des was at first and how things gradually got a little better over time. It must have taken forever to record and produce at this level of quality. Thank you for your hard work!

I never really considered a recovering yandere concept much but holy heck did you do it wonderfully. This is certainly a type of audio I'd like to see more of and it certainly adds a nice flavor to the yandere trope.

Honestly from how her reactions were typical yandere stuff...but hoenstly it seems like it was a mix of her not being treated right mostly not getting enough attention which would just lead to her not being in control, and a mix of her not knowing the right boundaries and holding back from breaking them but us (mostly likely somewhat yandere) knows how to give what she needs without letting it spiral out of control
Hey, the best thing about girls you find in psych wards is: no matter what your life throws at the two of you during your relationship, she's been through--and can probably handle--worse.
This was super cute. She knows she's a yandere and is trying to get better, but she still sometimes acts instinctively without realizing. Call me weird if you must, but I think it's endearing. "Babe, you're doing the thing again. We're just going to the store for ice. I'll be sticking with you like the memory of that embarrassing thing you did in highschool like always, so the GPS tracker is wholly unnecessary."

This was such a well written and well played story. Easy to follow, no immersion breakers, all the transitions between the different rps were fantastic. The slow transition from des freaking out at every thought of being sent back to eventually admitting she knows the listener loves her is so rewarding. I love this audio and it’s still the only one I’ve ever been able to listen to multiple times and still have a good time. Especially so close together. This is easily my favorite audio I’ve listened to. I found it a couple nights ago and have been thinking of it since. Crazy how easily I can fall for a fictional recovering yandere in minutes and it takes months to feel anything affectionate for a real person. It may not be the healthiest substitute but des helps me. As much if not even more than I’d like to help her. Can’t wait for part 2!
Ngl I used to listen to audios like this for a long time to help me calm down. I stopped listening to them a couple years ago when I eventually got a girlfriend and stopped being so lonely, but tonight I wanted to see what kind of new stuff there might be since I stopped listening, and I have to say that this video was a treat to return to. That last bit with the officer gave me the "John Wick" feels as a listener, listener probably has got a gritty past that the officer knows about and left the listener back to his peace since the listener is i guess in retirement of whatever he went thru, could explain why he needed a therapist, probably why he has no fear for Yandere women. I love it. The love and mystery the listener contains.

I'm not into the normal aggressive yandere really, though I do enjoy the rare "gentle", self-aware, shy, or submissive yanderes. Recovering yandere can be added to that as well now, this was a fantastic RP. Hoping that there is a continuation at some point.

@@VanillaVelvetAudio I think it could be done. Most of the imagery going through my head through all of the audio seems to have been heavily based on what I remember from the Tenchi! Muyo series.
Also, I really liked the sound effects suite you chose. Especially the sliding sci-fi door effect (it's probably my favorite sci-fi sound effect off FreeSound, and I've used it many and many a time.) I think I recognized a few other sounds as well, though I couldn't be sure of a positive ID.
Also also...in the scene where the listener is being walked down to Desiree's cell, I was expecting a much more drawn-out sound effects sequence...multiple vault doors, guards, scans, and all the bells and whistles of a trip to a maximum-security yandere containment cell...so much so, in fact, that mentally I was able to cram in all the special effects anyway.
In conclusion...I still think this needs to be animated, but you did an excellent job bringing the audio part to life.
I'm hoping to get into animation at some point, and if I ever manage to have enough time, I would love to animate this along with a few other ASMR videos I've seen, with permission of course.

The character progression over this "year" felt so wholesome. When they said "go back inside, I don't want you to be sick" it just showed how much trust was formed and how much growth was behind the character. It felt so fresh for someone who listened to a lot of RP asmr over the past few years.

Honestly at the end I can practically picture the "listener" staring at the officer in that Terrence style.
The plot twist being that the listener was actually a full recovered Yandere themselves, and one of the most bloodthirsty, clever and dangerous ones.

I love torties. I have one named Zullie, found her around halloween. She was a kitten playing around in the leaves on my porch. I'd never had a cat before, but it felt magical and now I'm her favorite human.
That's so sweet! I once adopted a kitten that showed up on my doorstep the same way.
Awww a few years back i adopted 2 sick kittens who where in a cat nest behind our shed. We nurses them back to health and dicided to keep them we called them Ollie and Dollie they have a lower tolerance to sickness. And nowadays Ollie has had to have an eye removed but they are absolutely loving life and I love those little critters. And god are they quirky I swear just 'cause they grew up around our dogs they seem to think they themselves are dogs sometimes. after wards we got a pup at some point and they play with him and even clean him sometimes. It's adorable.
I'm committed to helping those in need. I will take care of as many people as I can and do right by them. Consider it me righting my wrongs and continuing what Padmé fought for: peaceful and fulfilling lives for the galaxy!

I'm glad you liked it! This was an absolute bear to produce! And as for Noodle, nope! I've never cast him in a cat role in any audio. He was a very isolated shelter cat, left unwanted for several years--he's kind of funny looking, a huge and awkward Oriental Shorthair/Tabby mix with a broken ear, which I ~guess~ was undesirable to other potential adopters--and when I got him I was quite surprised that he never meowed!
He does now, very occasionally, but only when he's desperate to go sit outside for a minute--but the meow is still an absolute last resort, a distant second to coming to sit on my head and purr, or gently bat me in the face until I let him go on the porch.

Omg it's like my mind's being read, most videos about comforting yanderes role the listener as all mildly disturbed and uncomfy with the yan when it's like "NO I wanted this! Why aren't I being nice?!" but here it's like the thing I'm thinking of happens almost immediately as I think of it like reminding the yandere to breathe and rubbing their back to calm them down and just hecking being wholesome. It's so refreshing and nice that there's nothing mean or untoward from the yandere or the listener, there's nothin' weird or wrong about a relationship where ya both just want what's best for each other's mental health and genuinely care about each other's feelings and understand the whys of the feels and where those feels come from. This is downright beautiful scripting as well as voice acting too of course, also mega immersive that I relate to the character that is the listener alot, lol

My word, I'm in awe with the voice acting in this RP. This may be one of the few rp's that can be considered a work of art - everything from the character building to the emotion in the dialogue is absolutely amazing. You know... coming back to Ep. 1 after clearing the trilogy really makes some of Dez' early conversations with us hit... so, so much harder. I love this, I'm listening for the second time.
This entire concept in just as crazy as the people they are supposed to be “rehabilitating”, i am 100% down for this concept. You also seem to do a good job at capturing the concept of what it’s like inside some peoples heads when they get attached to someone even when they don’t want too. Having been there myself, I wanted to say thanks, on behalf of myself and anyone else who struggled like that. It’s got a uniquely soothing quality due to the understanding nature. Though perhaps I’m the only one that feels that way.
An impressive performance! You really sold how positively skittish and emotionally traumatized Des was at first and how things gradually got a little better over time. It must have taken forever to record and produce at this level of quality. Thank you for your hard work!

Honestly from how her reactions were typical yandere stuff...but hoenstly it seems like it was a mix of her not being treated right mostly not getting enough attention which would just lead to her not being in control, and a mix of her not knowing the right boundaries and holding back from breaking them but us (mostly likely somewhat yandere) knows how to give what she needs without letting it spiral out of control
I think that's what makes a good, solid character! Cause and effect in their behavior.

This was such a well written and well played story. Easy to follow, no immersion breakers, all the transitions between the different rps were fantastic. The slow transition from des freaking out at every thought of being sent back to eventually admitting she knows the listener loves her is so rewarding. I love this audio and it’s still the only one I’ve ever been able to listen to multiple times and still have a good time. Especially so close together. This is easily my favorite audio I’ve listened to. I found it a couple nights ago and have been thinking of it since. Crazy how easily I can fall for a fictional recovering yandere in minutes and it takes months to feel anything affectionate for a real person. It may not be the healthiest substitute but des helps me. As much if not even more than I’d like to help her. Can’t wait for part 2!

That last bit with the officer gave me the "John Wick" feels as a listener, listener probably has got a gritty past that the officer knows about and left the listener back to his peace since the listener is i guess in retirement of whatever he went thru, could explain why he needed a therapist, probably why he has no fear for Yandere women. I love it. The love and mystery the listener contains.
