With due respect, how can one sharpen their axe with books that help in self improvement. I mean i want to learn ML but it is an ocean, to get good quality materials (right from the basics ) how does reading self help books improve my google search??

Honestly it’s because this isn’t really how to get ahead of computer science students. It’s about how to get ahead in daily activities in life. I expected this to be about what to spend more time learning or what topics to tackle, so that you are vastly ahead of the others. This wasn’t super helpful for me personally

This is not only my problem but our entire nation's , so anyone can get 99+%tile (not %tage) by getting 40 marks out of 100 in maths of JEE Mains. But the problem is getting 40 itself seems very difficult... Can I get something more effective than only solving problems ???
Don't randomly solve, understand concept. See how they are attacking a question and solve. Try a question for sometime, and try your best to solve it. If you are not able to solve, then see where you lacked. It helped me a lot @@bimandas-rw1ts

I really like playing videogames. My reason for being in a computer science field is partially so ill be able to afford high end computer parts in the future, specifically for video games. So if i have to give up the whole reason im in conputer science, ill settle for only beating 98%.
I had a similar experience to this, I only play video games around 30 minutes to an hour a day just on my phone now, just continue playing a little games but what I would suggest is instead of being s consumer and playing and consuming and wasting time on video games you should try developing video games, it makes money and teaches you computer science

I completely agree with your views that alchohol, drugs, and smoking should be cut out of your life, but video games is a stretch. To be honest the more important thing to cut out in that category is mindless short form content. Video games in moderation have actually been shown to be a beneficial way to cool down and relax.
I recently have made these changes myself, cutting out games, going to the gym. I have maybe a single drink in a month, so thats easy enough to cut out. This video made a lot of great points, and also made me feel validated and like im on the right track.

Once you become hard working you won't even want to play video games, as fun as they are they are absolutely meaning less to play. I'd reccomend just developing them and then occasionally playing them like 4-5 hours a week but it's still a waste of time
well tbh i have spent literally 100's of hrs ( all these months ) watching self improvement videos ,i won't say they weren't effective but this 20 mins video covered a hell lot of points and actually helped me figure out where i was lagging . thank u so muchh !! 😊
If you haven't you shoukd try reading some books or listening to them on self improvement they're really good and it's easier to stick to what you're learning when it's a several hour long audio book

I guess how you brand the word “successful” and being ahead of everyone matters. I grew up in a very conservative poor family in Nepal and now as a 30 year old farmer, just started to learn about computers. I am doing pretty well. I live up in the mountains and From farming and livestock i make around $17,000 a year which is no where close to $70,000 - $300,000. But it is a decent amount in a country where the minimum wage is $200 per month. So things are different, there is not a golden rule that fits for all. workout, stay fit, eat healthy, eat good thats great But remember to Enjoy your life too.

This video is good, even great i would say. But remember everyone has a different story, a different upbringing, a different take on life. I guess how you brand the word “successful” and being ahead of everyone matters.
I grew up in a very conservative poor family in Nepal and now as a 30 year old farmer, just started to learn about computers. I am doing pretty well. I live up in the mountains and From farming and livestock i make around $17,000 a year which is no where close to $70,000 - $300,000. But it is a decent amount in a country where the minimum wage is $200 per month.
So things are different, there is not a golden rule that fits for all.
workout, stay fit, eat healthy, eat good thats great
But remember to Enjoy your life too.
