This episode of Catholic Destinations was filmed on a 2006 pilgrimage to France during which the CatholicTV crew filmed rosaries and other shows in Lourdes, Paris, and Lisieux. When the crew first arrived in France, they were stopped by French officials because they didn't have the proper permission forms to bring all their camera equipment into the country. They apologized and thankfully managed to talk officials into letting them go!

I became a devotee of St Therese because of my mom. My mom always tells me the story about St. Therese' promise. My mom prayed a lot to her when she was still young. Once she prayed a novena asking St. Therese for a loved one. On the ninth day of her prayer, she met my father. Who surprisingly gave her roses. It was at a prayer meeting and my father was the player of the piano. Years later, my father died. I was just a year old back then. Their story was a short one but still so beautiful. My mother never married after. She would always tell me that she have me and she's happy with that. And then I realized maybe I am the flower. When St. Therese promised my mother a shower of roses, it was me. My mother and I are well and happy now. We like to remember the memories of my father. We are very thankful to St. Therese for the precious gift of love. 💕

I had two sister-in-law’s that had devotion to Little Flower…… Saint Theresa’s… One day I asked them to pray for my intention. They said they would pray to the Little Flower They also told me That I may receive either real flowers or a flower on a card. They told me not to be surprised. Because often times the Little Flower will let you know that your intention will be granted. A couple of weeks later I received a bouquet of roses. For no reason at all. A day so after that my intention was granted. So glad I voted for your Destiination to be to the Basilica of Saint Theresa’s. The Basilica is so beautiful and to hear a little bit of the story of Saint Therese. Thank you!
