I just noticed that you have been doing all of these videos. I have been buying your ammo for years as it is some of my favorite. It is nice to know that you are really nice down to earth people and I really appreciate you taking time out to do the videos. Thanks!
In Oregon lion season is all year, and there are long bear seasons spring and fall. In controlled feed I have a Swedish Mauser set up as a scout rifle, and a pre war model 70.
I'm working on cast bullets for my 50 Alaskan. Do you have recommendations on cast bullet hardness for full power loads? I cast 375gr for plinking, 500 grain and 535 for full power hunting loads. I gas check and powder coat my bullets. I use my 50 for lots of woods hiking and hunting bigger game also.
1886, 50 Alaskan. Please keep us up-to-date!

I have a Ruger Guide Gun, 338 win mag, its my north idaho woods bumming gun.
Great videos, I love how irons carry as well, really adds to the appreciation of a hunt with irons.
I’ve never been to Alaska. Maybe one day I’ll be able to see its beauty.

Does the ruger guide gun come with its own QD rings? If not what ones do you use? Thanks
Yes, my three Ruger Guide Guns came with Ruger QD rings.
Bear spray is a joke. Never bet you life on a can of spray seasoning!
