of all the you tube videos that i subscribe to this is my all time favourite. I love to hear Graeme chatting away ,he has such a dry sense of humour. He is so knowledgable about all types of fishing but also the things he does around the house and his properties. Graeme works hard and plays hard .a top top man.
Hello you have the best show on UA-cam- I Also go fishing in the winter here in NY jones beach- I just got my new reel vansall and just love it- i thank you for your show is awesome Please keep up the fabulous work and thank you for letting us in .
Put my earphones in and closed my eyes. Just listening to the sea. My house is under quarantine due to you know what. Can't wait to get out there again 😢
Another great outing Graeme, glad it cheered you up. I was worried at the start of the video , you didn`t seem very happy, Tight lines, keep making those memories. :-D
I was more than miffed with the accuracy of the weather forecast..but by toughing it out all came good in the end..Best bit was the fire..it immediately lifts the spirits.
@@TAFishing The good old British spirit showed. I find my mood is always lifted by hot soup, a "TA" video and a raging fire. I appreciate the work that goes into producing them, thank-you from the bottom of my heart .
T, A session Mr G. Fun to watch that how me and my son spending evenings on Brighton Beach big fan thanks for the tips and shering with your experience I will goo for fishing
Yes I would have fished the worms for greater gains a bit of a gamble but you nailed it what an Angler who's not afraid of bit of bad weather your a great ambasador for the sport.. Keep up the good work. We all love your videos.. Keeping me smiling evertime I watch them... Brilliant.
Respect my friend its not easy at night ...been there and done that ..not fished for a few years now ..but watching you sat there ,brought back lots of memories... who knows i might start going again ...tight lines to you ...
Knew you could do it Graham. I never doubted you for a second. My only concern was the lack of food you had. Eat rag worm? No way, I’d rather chew my toe nails lol. Note to self, never leave home without sufficient supplies. Tin soup, beans & sausages, pot noodle, water, pots& pans. Be prepared my friend. Hope your wrist eases, I have the same age related problems. Plod on, be safe & as always big thankyou
Aside from Christian martyrs, there's no one I admire more than an outdoorsman who sticks to his guns--or, in this case, his rods--in inclement weather. You're an inspiration, my friend, and I wish you good health and many years of fishing!
Hi Graeme, My last video in south Wales was similar in that my heart wasn't in it either. At least you caught some nice fish, I gave up and walked away with a blank ☹. I was also dealing with a north easterly and hardly a nibble! On the bright side, it didn't rain on me. Love these shore fishing vids, they're my favourite 👍
Top notch, as usual. Just adore dogs and smoothies. Another fellow I watch does reasonably over the road at Southsea and pompy. However, he rarely lands three fish. And often just 1 or 2. Somehow he's got a constant supply of worms !!! Take care Graeme, avoid those cruise ships in the dark. You never know what, or who's lurking on board. TTFN
Went to West Bexington on Chesil Beach today for the first time this year and had 3 small Conger,a Doggie and a small whiting so noot too bad. To be fair a lot of fishermen were catching today. All thanks to your help on combo baits as I'd never made baits like that up before and we had a conger on the first cast! Thanks Graeme for all your tips keep em coming Cheers mate
Fair play Graham, take my hat off to you, persistance pays off...again,love the videos mate,yr the reason i'm getting back into sea fishing next yr.Lets hope things improve when we get our fishing waters back.
Hi Graeme, thanks for another great video. Been subscribing for many years now.I don’t know you personally but you feel like a close friend. I often sit watching your video’s and have a conversation with you whilst watching! My wife thinks I’m losing it 😐
Don't worry..I lost it myself many years ago...Its catching as well as I heard the wife having a conversation with "Housewives of Beverly Hills" on TV the other day...When Mike's dog starts talking to himself then I'll start to worry(Mind you I do speak fluent Jack Russell myself actually)..People say I'm barking mad ??
I was starting to feel cold just watching this, so I was glad when you got the fire going. Talking of which, I would have to burn a worm into an unrecognizable crisp, to eat it. Glad it was worth the trip in the end 👍
Nice to mix fishing up,even when its tough..I couldn't be fishing for just one species all the time. I'd have to take up needlepoint or doing a jigsaw blindfolded.
Theory time answer.. I'd deploy similar tactics to my blackberry picking pot .. one for me & one for the fish - the one in the fish is for me. That way I'd get both 😂🤣👍
I’d keep the worms for bait..... probably. Unless you’re REALLY starving it’s impossible to say. You’d probably eat whatever you could. Interesting conundrum. Well done for toughing it out, proper legend. Thanks
COD What's a cod. I gave up on those in the 90's when it became obvious they'd been effectively wiped out Graeme ! Luckily there are lovely dogfish, rays, plaice and congers about today which we never caught back then! Good how nature replaces one fish with another - and very encouraging. 😃

Incredible fishing congratulations you are a great fisherman! Hug and good fishing always!
Quite a debate eating ragworm to survive i know were I'd lean to, use them for hook bate and see what could forage of the shore. Brilliant vid mr Pullen full marks for braving the weather, tight lines and keep them coming.
Why do we do it Graeme? I guess it is the not knowing ... Sometime, just one time ( please God ) it might just work out and we get the fish of a lifetime. Who am I kidding? Oh well, like you I will keep on plugging away. Keep well, keep safe!
Well Graeme survival, I would while digging the worms I would also be collecting as many cockles, clams, and lady crabs, IE velvet swimming crabs and any other big crabs, also spend some time exploring the rocks for Lobsters, and any good size fish in the bigger rock pools I would also be collecting Mussels and any clams or any washed up scallops, then I would sit down like yourself with a full stomach and fresh prawns form the tidal pools, but then survival is a state of mind as well as stamina, the ones with knowledge of survival are the ones who always survive, if you have the guts to fight for what you have, so let's hope it never comes to that. Jim from Scotland
Off Teesport there are regular fish factories as the locals call them, they work all night long processing white fish for the consumer market, a factory of people filleted, package and freeze them ready for consumption once they make the port the following day. they basically are massive floating fish processing ships.
Hey Mr p ! Love the videos nxt time you or mike are in the tackle shack , can you do a chat on tackle sizes!!! Lol I mean hook sizes and swivels etc ! I just can’t get my head around it 👍
Still get lots of cruise ships out there I live at Exmouth in devon and always got cruise ships off Torquay sometimes they move around depending on weather conditions
Great to see you out on the beach again, I would rather starve to death then eat-the ragworm. at least you had enough food to avoid eating the worms and staying somewhere near warm
with that luck and the two moons you should have got euro millions lottery ticket with the tenner you found. i think the jackpot was 175 million. i reckon thats just enough to retire with. hahaha. great video sir
Hey Graeme, do you have any plans on going Dungeness again any time soon? I come from Holland and I love England, going to New Romney for holidays but its been a while. 4 times in the last 8 years I came to England and I enjoy the English culture very much. When i stayed at New Romney I went fishing at Dungeness each time and loved it, great catching and beautiful scenery around. Doing up memories seeing you fishing there, love it. Thnx so far for all the content, really really enjoying it, keep up the good work! You also gave me allot of tips already for next time beach fishing in the UK, Thank You for that!
I used to fish Dungeness every winter but haven't been for a number of years...Was always a spot that gave you a sense of hope as historically it was the best shore Cod spot in UK...anglers had been known to stagger off the beach with 80lbs of Cod.
@@TAFishing It is truly a really good fishing spot but may I ask about the tides and fishing? I had bad experience a few times with out going tide and not catching anything. Maybe the weather can be involved to, I don't know. Catching those kind of big cod must give you exciting thrills, it would at least do for me. I caught Cod, Dogfish, flatty's and whiting there and used frozen squid, frozen ragworms and normal worms. Next time I will get more bait and try heavier baiting. When the Covid pandemic drops and let us go wherever we want I am coming back for more fishing. If in any case you are free and would like to fish there also, i would love to hook up!
As for eating worms I have enough fat in reserve to last me a month 😉 on a serous note I’d hook the remaining worms and wait it out for a fish worms don’t look the tastiest either. Great videos I learn a lot from your video beginner fisherman here
Don't eat the worms. If the fish don't want them they can't be any good. I do love your, unique to the British, sense of dire, though hopeful, pessimism, which, if you stick with it, can sometimes come up with the goods. I love fishing stormy winter nights because it's wonderful and invigorating to experience everything nature has to throw at you and just sit there watching your tip lights, and imagine you were anywhere else in the world where it's warm and peaceful and the fish are fighting each other for your hook bait. Raymondo
Love it, In survival mode would I eat rag worm? Big no. I would scavenge the beach as most sea weed is edible if I was allowed boiling water then I would search the beach for shell fish looking round the groynes should provide me with mussels and I could then boil them in seawater. I would keep the rag worm and fish for something more substantial. I have eaten gudgeon so nothing worries me. Great video Graham you turned the session round but more importantly you bought the sound of the sea into my study. Your beach videos are the best even though nowadays most anglers are scratching around to catch anything.

I've recently moved and live 10 minutes walk away from the shore. Amazing fishing. Cant wait to hook up on some bigguns. Will be using all your tips👍

Well done Graeme , one hell of an evening and night weatherwise.

An open fire lifts the spirits straight away..Throw back to our cave man past I guess...Warmth...Cooking...and keeps predators away..
Well done
You could catch fish in the bathtub! You da man Graeme !!!
Awesome as always!!!
You are a legend and one of the reasons I keep fishing course and sea
Nice to mix fishing up,even when its tough..I couldn't be fishing for just one species all the time. I'd have to take up needlepoint or doing a jigsaw blindfolded.
Better you than me.... been there and felt the desolation. Still, always great to watch someone else suffering lol. Good stuff Graeme.
Great video, definitely gonna give sea fishing a go next year :)
Love how Graeme brings everything apart from the kitchen sink with him 🤣
Always great videos 👍🏻🎣🐟

Brilliant graeme
But the ruling class will
When your back in Somerset Graham, go and fish Brean Beach, couple of hours up and an hour back. Shallow beach can produce big cod
Eat worms........not a chance. I'd be off to the chippy on the way home. Thanks for the video, always appreciated.
Gotta love it 👏🏻
Smoothhound and a tenner! 😂 Win win 👍
