Idk if you already fixed it but the music doesn’t seem too loud to me. If are getting “pumping” from the side chain and you have the ability to modify the attack and release - increase the release and decrease attack and it won’t dip in and out as much.
I love TheAegisRelic he is so big and powerful Also just a few things: You can finish the colossus for Early Reading at any point after the 1st shift bar disappears. The shooting the crystal to start damage also depends on all ads being dead in the room before the planets in the middle light up, if there is any alive it takes twice as long 🙂 And the main reason you go to the back of the flower on Nez is if anyone is towards the front he will tp to them, meaning you can’t shoot him
Really loving the series! I'll add another vote for dungeons sometime in the future, and I would also watch the hell out of some low man explanations if that's ever possible
I'd love to see scission ran this efficiently from the perspective of someone stood where the rally banner gets placed to see 5 people zooming around like this
These videos are exceptional. I will say, however, I'm a bit disappointed you didn't explain optimal gardening mechanics. I'd love to know more about how to space players and when to shoot nodes to build the pathways as quickly as possible. Does one person just sit on the bubble while the rest of the team members take the buff over to the expected locations? How do you manage that in Scission when the bubbles move forward? I felt similarly about the Morgeth encounter in Last Wish. It's very cool that half the team is off on a wild skip-but you never explained how the remaining players are able to complete the mechanics to enter damage phase (just that damage is very fast with Parasite and Blade Barrage). Or for that matter how you can start Shuro Chi without everyone making it to the friendship door.
The basics of Cataclysm are just having one player at the base buff, then having players sitting on all the possible node locations calling when they shoot their node, with the base player themselves moving forward and leapfrogging the next node in the sequence at some point, with players without buff moving backwards to cover potential buff plates, since they can no longer shoot nodes without the buff. Scission is even easier, since buff/node sequences are guaranteed, meaning you can have fixed no RNG roles where people just shoot specific things at the right time in the sequence. Morgeth is literally just done normally in a trio haha - pick up mid, kill all adds, force left cleanse, cleanse again, nuke all captains, pick up mid again, damage. Shuro is just an encounter that can be pulled to without everyone being there, as long as only the people pulling are in the Shuro load zone.
@TheAegisRelic Thanks for the reply. It must be a lot of fun trying to route Cataclysm (and stressful to perform). Makes sense that you can pull to Shuro when they aren't in the zone. I guess I could have intuited that. Similar to running backward to start the Riven encounter. I actually had no idea you can complete Morgeth without picking up all the strength. Sounds like it's just the double cleanse that causes the last orb to spawn? Super useful. I'm sure some of these mechanics seem pretty basic, but those are the ones that it's easier for us casuals to make use of. The correct way to multi-run nodes-as you just described-for example. Or pre-setting plates on Shuro, which helps a lot with sherpa runs. Or knowing that you only have to read the second Scorn captain in Exhibition (and not the Taken counterpart) so you don't need to rely on your relic reader as much.Or shooting symbols to determine the correct obelisk in Acquisition. I'm learning a lot, even if I don't plan to speedrun! Thanks again for all your work on these.
What I think is funny is that for casual raiders this like the least favorite raid except planets but I can definitely see why speed runners enjoy it. Started my console speed running journey recently to spice up the destiny experience, love the content
@@ok-tebow everyone I’ve ever ran this from says this is either their least favorite or tied with garden. Usually hear this raid called ad clear the raid. I’m a lfg setting it’s one of my least favorite, so I may be a little biased, but I’m interested in learning some speed run strats to spice up my personal experience
"there is not alot of waiting around either" me who runs lfg RoNs would disagree :D great video as usual RoN can be such a fun raid and the speedrun is one of the best to watch
Question: if you are the players doing 0-2 and you finish the skip but your team wipes on the first encounter what happens? Do you have to do it again?
I believe that doing RoN normally is the worst raid experience imaginable. There is 1 runner and 5 ad clear on first, 2 runners and 4 ad clear on second. And 2 runners and 4 ad clear on nezzy. The only fun encounter to me atleast is planets everything else is just annoying ig
Solo speedrunning is stressful enough, but having one mistake ruin 5 other people's runs. I would crawl under a rock and never speak again if I messed that up.
honestly imo just watch a few datto guides and you'll get a good enough idea on what you need to do, if youre planning on just doing lfg runs then you dont need any of the fancy stuff shown off in these speedruns
Okay wtf the sidechaining didn't work in this video so the background music is insanely loud I'll fix that for next video
put it in rice

I'm so glad that fallback for 0-2 works. It makes that skip go from impossible to trivial.
I've only got about 7 raid completions since 2014, but these videos are definitely my favorite pieces of destiny content ever.

Silly vehicular methods
I like these videos cause I enjoy seeing the different ways people speed up certain mechanics.

Start with an activity you enjoy and watch record, then try optimizing it yourself :)
A speedrun category where players have to collect all loot, including secret chests.
