The sections of the creek captured on video looked amazing. Perfect for tenkara. And if you’re in a healthy fishery with a broad spectrum of sizes, the little ones will go for a ride! I set the hook on a tiny chub earlier this week and it smacked me right in the middle of my chest!
For sure! This was a good river. 😂 I've definitely had worse flying fish where I had to hunt them down in the forest to put them back in the river. I've always found them and been able to put them back in the river, so far... Hopefully it stays that way.

Haha! Yeah, I'm just glad they landed in the water. I have been enjoying the middle fork. It's a good rod, just a little heavy at the longest length.
