Both parents are important in a child's life ... a father teaches his son how to be a man/act like a man, and a mother teaches a son how to love a woman/what it feels like to be loved by a woman. I feel like it hurts more for him because the mother was not around for her son .. which would be the same level of hurt for a daughter to not have her dad around

Lord this baby has me crying 😢. He is hurt and broken. When she gave him up she made him feel as if he was a broken kid. All he wanted to know was that he wasn't broken and unwanted. We talked that day, and that was it, haven't dealt with him since. I hope he gets past his anger, but 15 years in - I was still angry too.

Honestly... I can sympathize more with Genesis mindset. Unfortunately, children “adapt” more of when the father leaves, but I believe it’s a deeper pain when the mother leaves. For her son to sit back for years and he seeing you get your body right before you get your relationship right with your child... that is messed up. He was wrong for going off on her because she is still his mother, but I feel more empathy for her son.
NICOLE SAWYER If you really look at that clip, you could see he just exploded. I kept wondering why people didn't see that.. He was trying to listen but everything she was saying you could see him having 3 and 4 counters in his head. They call it a psyche break, you go instinctive because your brain can't handle the rush of thoughts so it resets.. if anything him not putting his hands on her shows that at his core he can't truly hate his mom. All that rage, and he still couldn't.. that's what ended up breaking him down. Thats a beyond deep show of a childs connection, and specifically his connection to his mom. I have seen personal friends who went without their mother and let me say, their life was not easy (some came through and others was just always seemingly hard/rough in their life) because of the mentally suffering they held on the inside. My concern is that they both have A LOT of work (counseling) on their own lives and their life as mother and son It’s very much possible because there is always HOPE, but they have to open up, be honest (not for no tv ratings), and accept fault were it’s needed. Me personally I am truly praying for them. This just broke my heart. I have a son and I cannot imagine leaving him for NO ONE OR NOTHING.

Then next time it's her bawling on tv going on trips. I think the more outside sources that interact will ultimately damage them because they both need to get on the same playing ground. John Swift My focal point on Sky is that consciously she is still that young girl. Her body and age may have “grown up”, but she is still that young pre-teen/teenager mentally. I still feel empathy towards Genesis he was a very young child, not understanding why his young teen mother gave him up. This is just a lot of suppression that needs to get dug back up and dealt with professionally (and some prayers will help along they way).

How many times have sky broke down talking about them and you see how violent she was when it came to other people. She was not ready within herself. You could say she could have called them throughout the years yea but SHE WASN'T READY WITHIN HERSELF when it came to that situation. You have to think of both of their feelings at the time. Not just his but i understand why he's hurt.
I absolutely get that Sky has her own feelings but I feel as a parent she needed to step up. Like that's her child, she should have just put herself in that awkward position for her childs' sake. I hate when people tell people in this position to let it go. Lol like nobody can just let that go. You have to work through that and if they're not going to hello work through it with them then let them be. People don't understand inner pain. It has to be dealt with, worked on and there has to be a healing period allowed. Internal wondering are worse than external wounds and this is an internal wound. You don't just let that go because it is a part of you. It has to be removed surgically and worked on. I hate hearing let that go, it's the most careless statement to make to be honest. I've worked with children and adults in similar situations and the best way for them to deal with it is to be able to express the pain, find the root, and receive help in uprooting it.

Honestly... I can sympathize more with Genesis mindset. Unfortunately, children “adapt” more of when the father leaves, but I believe it’s a deeper pain when the mother leaves. For her son to sit back for years and he seeing you get your body right before you get your relationship right with your child... that is messed up. He was wrong for going off on her because she is still his mother, but I feel more empathy for her son.

They call it a psyche break, you go instinctive because your brain can't handle the rush of thoughts so it resets.. if anything him not putting his hands on her shows that at his core he can't truly hate his mom. All that rage, and he still couldn't.. that's what ended up breaking him down.
Thats a beyond deep show of a childs connection, and specifically his connection to his mom. Hopefully he allows her day in and day out to work back to make the next 15 years better.

I have seen personal friends who went without their mother and let me say, their life was not easy (some came through and others was just always seemingly hard/rough in their life) because of the mentally suffering they held on the inside. My concern is that they both have A LOT of work (counseling) on their own lives and their life as mother and son It’s very much possible because there is always HOPE, but they have to open up, be honest (not for no tv ratings), and accept fault were it’s needed. Me personally I am truly praying for them. This just broke my heart. I have a son and I cannot imagine leaving him for NO ONE OR NOTHING.

I think the more outside sources that interact will ultimately damage them because they both need to get on the same playing ground. He wants to hear why he wasn't good enough, and how he couldn't be a priority and ultimately how he's supposed to trust her moving forward...

John Swift My focal point on Sky is that consciously she is still that young girl. Her body and age may have “grown up”, but she is still that young pre-teen/teenager mentally. I still feel empathy towards Genesis he was a very young child, not understanding why his young teen mother gave him up. This is just a lot of suppression that needs to get dug back up and dealt with professionally (and some prayers will help along they way).

She left them alone because she didn't want to come in their lives randomly and mess it up. Also she wasn't ready with in herself to open up that chapter to talk to them. How many times have sky broke down talking about them and you see how violent she was when it came to other people. She was not ready within herself. You could say she could have called them throughout the years yea but SHE WASN'T READY WITHIN HERSELF when it came to that situation. You have to think of both of their feelings at the time. I absolutely get that Sky has her own feelings but I feel as a parent she needed to step up. Like that's her child, she should have just put herself in that awkward position for her childs' sake. You have to work through that and if they're not going to hello work through it with them then let them be. People don't understand inner pain. It has to be dealt with, worked on and there has to be a healing period allowed. Internal wondering are worse than external wounds and this is an internal wound. You don't just let that go because it is a part of you. It has to be removed surgically and worked on. I hate hearing let that go, it's the most careless statement to make to be honest. I've worked with children and adults in similar situations and the best way for them to deal with it is to be able to express the pain, find the root, and receive help in uprooting it.

Cesar really didn’t know how to handle that situation. He was stuck trying to find the right words. Sky’s son opened up to Cesar looking for guidance.. crying for help because he don’t know what to do. He’s latching on to the pain of a broken heart because that’s all he know. He’s going by his experience wif her. He’s not wrong for how he feels. But sky I love her and I understand it wasn’t easy for her to give up her kids. It’s not easy for most women to ride that out.. I understand both points to be honest. But that pain.. that vulnerability hit hard. Cesar should have hugged him. But that’s what I would have done.. I think Sky’s son has to learn to forgive her more cause he’s right. If he was that angry he would have hit her. But he’s just sad. Damn, I’ll pray for this situation.
