Why I became a Nurse | Why nurses quit

Hi friends! I'd love to chat with all of you interested in becoming nurses, and those of you in nursing school or college. I'll explain how my interest in becoming a nurse started. I have a four year degree, a BSN from a Lutheran College in the Pacific NW. Let's see how Helen Keller and Jerry Lewis helped me to get where I'm at today. Let's also discuss about the nursing shortage and why nurses quit. Nurses today are under a lot of stress. Nurses are quitting early in their careers, or are retiring early. What are some of the reasons for this? We need nurses and providers, but there is a world wide shortage.
