Great video! What lb line were you using for the surface fishing?
15lb breaking strain I was using. Not using that line again
@@markfosterangling338 wow! I’m down to 6lb line and have landed carp to 28.8 but it took forever to get in 🤣 I’ve found I get much fewer bites when I up there breaking strain
It broke like 4lb line. I normally use 10lb but most fisheries have a minimum breaking strain of 15lb now days so normally just stick to that now.
Out of interest. What line are you going to try next? The water I fish is really silty and the line takes on all the crud and ends up sinking, evern with vasaline. I don't think there is much I can do on that front as it's the make up of the water etc
