1st thing I did was brass weights and wheels and 3 weeks later servo stripped out gears, now I have 2065r servo and added low crawl gears and brass TRAEL steering link. I've had it less then a month. All rock crawling no trail. Great rig just needs those tweaks to make it work for you. Not done with mods😅
Back watching again RC girl, I finally got me one. I got the black edition wow is it beautiful. I got the pro light kit for it and the rollbar with lights , Love my night runs
Finished video. couple thoughts.. battery life of stock versus bigger batteries that fit? , Interior and a driver probably need the higher torque / more turn crawling motor?
Too plastic looking to make it not even worth purchasing. I would prefer all metal components for durability. 1/10 scale is the prefer choice for realism. Looks like just skin and bone nty.
You my have found out already but like the trx4 1/10 scale, this trx4m has 3 speed choices. Trail, speed and crawl mode. You change it the same way on the receiver.

I hope by the time Losi stocks Amain and I receive the Promoto MX I ordered in JUNE Traxxas adds a 1979 F150 Ford TRX4m High Trail to the lineup. I already own the 1/10 scale K10 Chevy High Trail. Or maybe I should just buy the 1/10 scale Ford F150 body for my current High Trail chassis and save some money. A little lead bird shot in those un-glued non-foamed tires will do much to lower center gravity.
Great video the 1/18th scale river is a good touch lol. I’m not much into the micro RC’s ( because my eyes are not so good anymore and my fingers are to big to work on them lol) but I may have to get the f150 high trail trx4m when it comes out 😊
Nice looking truck. I have the 1/12 scale Associated CR12 F150, and the 1/10 scale Element Trailwalker. Nice trucks, unfortunately there aren't any crawling events going on in eastern NC that I know of.

My honest opinion traxxas drop the ball. 18th scale is junk. Just buy axial 24 scale. Till traxxas gets it right like the 10th scale I wouldn't buy it. Just my opinion. I was die hard traxxas guy till they made the 18th scale.

Looks nice but I’m still enjoying my 1/24 Fms k5 w oil shocks. Has much faster speed and slow crawl imo. Still kinda sour after the traxxas lawsuit debacle. Plus I don’t like that you have to use traxxas proprietary battery. Great review as always!
The FCX24 is a great platform for sure. I also have a K5(fully brass, full everything) and I'm thinking these two will probably look close-ish in scale, the K5 is right above 1/18 true scale. Too bad the Traxxas is still figuratively unattainable in my country(It is, but at least 180% price over an FMS K5).

Good looking truck. I think the proportions are better than the fcx24 k5, too bad it doesnt have two speeds and portals. The size seems to be in between the fcx24 k5 and the fms k10.
