    Strikes me, the Tory Party is failing because of weak and uninspired leadership and divisive subsets who would rather run their own political sideshow, than see a cohesive party that is strong and capable of harnessing broad popular support.Thirdly and at least as important as the above, is the poor public image caused by 1 scandal after another. And then there's Brexit!😅 which this government was built on...!

    I disagree with Anand's anecdote that people don't want to talk about Brexit. Many know & complain that Brexit has badly impacted their lives. They can join the dots when they are personally affected, when their SME goes to the wall, when they can't get a dr's appt, when the choice of fresh fruit & veg is hugely reduced with short sell by dates, when common medicines are unavailable, when you're restricted to 90 days in 180 from spending time with relatives or travelling in EU, when the cost of employing extra Customs & Border force employees has risen & when our global reputation & soft power has decreased. Tory & Labour Parties however don't want to mention it.
