@@CheesyDale i think they forgot about it....i also think is a plot hole... because in the photo evidence there is no handle....and the tool that was use to make the square hole only cut and give a hinge on the top....it does not add handle or anything to pull.....
Theres another plothole (same scene) that bothers me more (spoilers) That being how SHolmes's vials are all intact. (I can understand no blood as that could be hard to animate, but technically also no blood)
Sherlock Holmes in cutscenes: uses crazy gadgets and immediately finds a hidden person. Herlock Sholmes in the game: hanging around randomly everywhere, deductions that makes you feel you're witnessing a car crash, arrogance and racism, and a very slick hand work...

They actually wanted to get VA with that trait for all japanese characters, but due to the pandemic their choices got a bit limited

IIRC the anime cutscenes since Dual Destinies were done by the stame studio that does the AA anime.
