I'm very high and don't know why I'm watching this
I tried move number 2 and leg kicks in a party with my brothers I kick them in the well you know where I don't know if I learnt the dance but I now ensure that the ancestral property goes only to my children haha
Very well done Manpreet. Your video is a blessing for all Punjabis who want to learn basic Bhangra. After all, which true Punjabi can resist shaking a leg when the 'dhol' beats. Keep it up.

The video is cool. Could I maybe suggest you do a summary of moves at the end, with Music?! Would be easier to see in totality what all was learnt in the video. (Just something I was looking for, and realized, it wasn't there. Otherwise... These video's rock ! And I watch all of em !

I've noticed the gen in Canada/US/UK listen or dance more to traditional Dhol beats than us in Punjab listen more to crap music the likes of Haney singh badshah etc. Of course their beats are catchy but no Dhol ?

Move 2 is called “Punjab”
There are multiple ways of doing “Punjab” and they have different names based on how you use your hands....
Move 5 is called “Jhaffaa” and there is single “Jhaffaa” when you use one hand up and other one down... it’s called double “Jhaffaa” when both hands are up or down simultaneously!
But all in all great instruction video!

living in punjab but still don't know how to do bhangra was my problem ....... due to this prroblem i started avoiding the dance floor ...... whenever somenone came to grab me or was looking for me i would just got o bathroom ........ but hxs manpreet for the bhangra basic moves atleast i am able to do some basic moves and i m now not a dance floor shy thxs ...... soo much

Hi, Manpreet In your lessons are excellent. I noticed you are missing one of the very, very important things. That particular thing which I am talking about you are doing it all the time but you are not emphasizing in your lesson at all for your students. That is your face expressions the dancer must try to keep smiling all the time if not all the time at least most of the time during the dance. I know it is difficult but make Chaar Chand in your performance. You are the great teacher explain very well to learners. I am myself is too old to dance But can I refer 6, 4, and 2 years young girls to you for the dance lesson. I think you are in California and they are in San Diego CA. .
