115,000 miles ( km is more than that ) but I have changed the oil every 5k from new and part of dpf blck problems can be oil burn soot from thin oil not being changed. well worth cleaning before buying new part then clear codes and do a dpf regen if you have a small obd2 reader that can do it
i think the earlier engine is different but not 100% sure, if it's a j10 diesel then could be same but mk.1 set up was different i think, sorry can't be more help
@@kevinhancock4064 none whatsoever, it stopped it from bringing up the fault code due the the valve being out of position as it was so jammed with carbon build up. the only way to improve performance it to remove it / do a software delete on the egr and in tunr remove the dpf and delete that too. you would then gain power and mpg . i did with a diesel ford focus, it ran so much better with both deleted.
