This is absolute huge. I was leading some XML Transformation Project for the government and said it a couple of times. One time this will be over. One Database for all kind of data. Oracle did it!
Highly motivating to see an almost 80-year-old chairman of a huge company talk deep technical topics with ease. There is no marketing speak, there is no management mumbo-jumbo. Amazed at his learning skills.
The right direction: 8i, 9g, 12c and now 23ai Data for the internet Data for grid computing Data for cloud platforms Data for artificial intelligence enabling requirements and eliminating limitations The next step in bring value to all digital assets for business problems
Vector Search is in this realse of Oracle DB 23ai is going to be game changer in industry. There were few open source LLM projects that were letting us convert free text into SQL query. Now, Oracle DB 23ai is letting us do it within the same DB in more secure and encoded way. Way to go Oracle!!
The Oracle database has been great. I used Oracle 10g (now at 19c) to accomplish the integration work with some XML data sources single handedly that later a large vendor has failed to accomplish after 8 years (from 2016 and the contract had to be terminated in 12/2023).
Oracle and as database and as owner vision and as corporation and as political , because Oracle continue stop business in captured countries + Larry mention in this speach Ukraine, on the right way! Good luck for BIG Oracle team, many health to Larry and success to all Oracle partners!

Will you be allowed to choose your own pre trained LLM?
Yes It let's us choose pre trained LLM
Wonderful. Excellent feature.
We Knew Oracle can make Simple, Easy UIx to deal many Complex analysis, Txns, where as SAP make Complex UIx even for simple Problems,
It's wonderful! ❤
Excellent!
awesome!
Shew. Thank you!
Oracle should act fast as their database market share has been reduced to less than 20% from 60+% a decade+ ago.
The market has ENORMOUSLY grown, and it would no longer be necessary nor reasonable for Oracle to dictate 60% of today's data flow.
terrible estos chicos, son una maquina imparable.
