Star Wars Racer Part 1 - Gasgano - Boonta training course (Tatooine) PC HD

Starting slow...
I'm having another play through of one of my all time favorite games and figured I'd bring you all along for the ride. My plan is to use a different pod for each race and to try and take several different routes during each race so that you can enjoy a bit more variety. I'm starting fresh in a new tournament so all of the pods have basic stats which will be upgraded as we go. Things will get much faster :) This is the Good old games (GOG) Version played on my Windows 10 PC. As you'll see, it has a few graphical, audio and touch detection glitches, but it is still a lot of fun to play even after 21 years! And I recommend everybody to do so.
The Boonta training course is the opening track in game, no real challenges here other than the narrow cave exit towards the end of the track. And no short cuts to take advantage of. Sebulba is the track favorite, but You don't win his pod for completing this opening race. That happens later in the game during the full Boonta eve version.
Gasgano is a Xexto, he's a professional racer and does it for the thrill. His Ord Pedrovia pod is a good all around vehicle, but has some of the worst cooling in the game before upgrading, so the boosting is limited here. He managed to finish in second place during that famous Boonta eve classic race in The Phantom Maneace.
