Have you evaluated Pano2VRPro? I dislike all the subscription based systems, so I chose Pano2VPro, which is just a one time software purchase. Not cheap, but not a constant bleed of cash. I also like that I can manage my own photo methods and editing methods. I host the tours on my own webserver as well. The only downside is that a one person company like myself is not an "accepted" provider for Zillow.
Hi Nathan, Great video! Ive been shooting real estate photo/video for 5 years. But I become overwhelmed every time I look at offering 3D tours. Your teaching style is very clear about the solutions. However, I do have one major concern. I would love to see a video about: "How much money can one make shooting 3D tours?" Do I have to spend hours editing in cloud pano? Although cost are higher for Matterport, couldn't I make more money per hour / per listing since I don't have to do any editing when I get home from shooting listings all day? 😃
Thanks! Well, I use Cloudpano and I make good money from tours. As I pointed out in this video, the price comparison shows why. If you use the proper workflow then things go quickly. There is no major time-sink in any 360 host, including Cloudpano. The rest is up to you and your skills, which I show in my guide on virtual tour photography, here's a link if you'd like to check that out: amzn.to/3FBZ8LI
Nice summary, Nathan. I have been on this journey with Cloudpano, iGuide, Matterport and Kuula. I have used them all. I too like Cloudpano the best for its speed and flexibility. I do not get the banner on Zillow "Want to tour this home virtually?" with Cloudpano tours now which is extremely disappointing. The only way customers can find my tours on Zillow is drilling to the home features section. There is no indication of a 3D tour by the images. I wonder why you get a banner with Cloudpano and I don't. Do you think it has to do will MLS is Maine vs California?
Thanks! Although Zillow is constantly changing the way the display listings with tours, and tours themselves, you can talk to your MLS and have them reach out to Zillow. It could be that the agent(s) aren't putting the virtual tour into the correct entry on the MLS, or that your MLS is not syndicating the tour properly, perhaps with the wrong fields. Since it would be in the best interest for your MLS, you should encourage them to contact Zillow about this, and/or have your agents reach out to Zillow as well.
@@NathanCoolPhoto I will see what MLS says. The agent did reach out and they said Cloudpano wasn't an "accepted" provider. I uploaded to Kuula and it listed in the banner like you describe. Zillow explained to my agent that iGuide, Matterport, EyeSpy360, LiveTour and Kuula are accepted providers. Given this information, it was interesting to me that you get the banner with Cloudpano.
Thank you! I feel that my books are worth what they provide. I do recommend the e-book versions since those are interactive and cost less than the print versions. Here's a link to the series if you'd like to check them out: amzn.to/3XwKKfY
Good evening Nathan ... Do you offer consulting services for those needing secondary training on the software platforms you highlighted? I could always use professional verbal/hands-on instruction if it were available. Thanks in advance!
Hello Nathan. Thanks for the video. Because of your recommendation in your e-book, I wanted to work with Cloudpano. Unfortunately I don't have that many customers who order a virtual tour yet. I have one question. What happens to the tours if you cancel the subscription? Can the customer then no longer embed the link on his website or can the tour no longer be viewed? Greetings from Germany
You can export the tours from CloudPano to archive and host them yourself, but if you are charging for tours but can't keep them hosted, yet the client wants them, then it raises a bigger issue.
great video! just one thing i don't quite understand... what happens to my tours if I delete my account? I mean I have a pub as a customer and they want to keep their tour for a long time (maybe forever). what happens now if I stop doing real estate and delete my account (with metareal for ex.) will they loose their product?
Hello Nathan, Cloud Pano seems like a good option but ive been thinking of 3D Vista, Would that be an option? i know its complex but i feel like it offers a broader options for your audiance. would you be able to add 3D vista reviews? theres litteraly non in sighton YT lol
You seem to use "virtual tour"and "3D tour' to describe the same thing. Am I understanding that correctly? I thought 3D tour was different than a 2D tour. If you could clarify that would be great.
That and all the other stats and reference material are in the earlier video at ua-cam.com/video/9mmGvp2xD98/v-deo.html with links in the description for the video.
Very insightful. Thank you Nathan
Hi Nathan I use iguide and it’s so expensive. It is fast and accurate, but prices are just insane.

You answered why I wouldn't recommend them :) Gotta be visible on listing sites, i.e. Zillow.
Nathan, thank you for the information. Great overview! Chris
Glad it was helpful Chris! And thank you!

Ok so cloud pano vs kuula? What you recommend for beginners
Hi Nathan, any thoughts on Metareal?
Hi Nathan, Could you make a video in the same way but with apps that make floor plans
I did some time back, here it is: ua-cam.com/video/qT_vLrjtESY/v-deo.htmlsi=3Zxz3MUdX3jeIX4I

@@deantyler7341 Thanks Tyler, I've reached out to Cloudpano as well. Let me know what the MLS says.
Hi there this is not the case as the 3D tour integrates with the listings using CloudPano.
Great comparison!
Do you have any BF/CM specials on your kindle series?

@Nathan Cool Photo thank you so much for such a quick response.
I agree wholeheartedly, they are! Thanks for the link.

Hi Rick, I do offer private Zoom sessions, email me for more info.

Sounds like you already made up your mind on 3D Vista :)
Hello, do you have any experience with 3DVista software suite ?
Sorry, no :(

Today the two terms are used interchangeable, including on the MLS and listing web sites.
Dziękujemy.
Thank you Marek! Much appreciated!
Where can I find that 360 tour research statistic on NAR. On the site and I cant find it. Its a great marketing piece.
That and all the other stats and reference material are in the earlier video at ua-cam.com/video/9mmGvp2xD98/v-deo.html with links in the description for the video.
Cubicasa is not free. It's at least 9,99€
Hi Momtschil, see pinned comment at the top regarding this. Thanks!
@@NathanCoolPhoto Hmmm.... I'm not seeng this for some reason....
Ah, it's in this video on Floor Plans: ua-cam.com/video/qT_vLrjtESY/v-deo.html
Great review! What 360 camera did you use on video btw?😀
I mentioned that in the video: DSLR with fisheye lens and pano head, a Z1, and also drone in some parts.
