I really appreciate seeing kinky hair in this video. Other hair themed videos are always geared toward straight hair. I never complained, I just activated my suspension of disbelief and went along with it. I honestly never thought I'd see something like this. I'm amazed.

As a black man with relatively long type 4 hair I really enjoyed this video and feeling included in a niche that is atypical for us. I also appreciate the time and care you took into handling his hair! My only suggestion is that if you work with type 4 hair for future videos it can be a lot healthier for the hair if for any detangling you start at the ends and work your way to the roots. He may have not even known to advise you, but that method just prevents even less breakage and damage to the hair. Again thank you for your time and effort! 😊✊🏾
I have type 3 hair and even I use that method (working from the ends and working my way up to my scalp). It’s made a huge difference for my hair! It’s so interesting how much you learn from reading & watching videos on how to take care of your specific hair-type. For me, my hair needs more moisture than protein (I have low porosity hair), so I use a lot of hydrating & lightweight products since my hair has the tendency to produce build-up faster. Also, brushing product through the hair has been a game changer!!! My natural curls have so much more spiral curls than I once thought. It also helps so much with volume. I also have specific brushes for everything. One thing I wish more people would emphasize is using products with good-great ingredients. I’ve learned so much through researching what’s good for my hair & what’s not. I do the same with skin care, food, etc. 😊

Normally, I can only watch the same ASMR video about 2-3 times before it no longer triggers me (because my body/mind familiarized the sounds) but I think this is like my 10th time watching this video and I still get tingles!

As someone who has had lice MULTIPLE times growing up (never was a fun experience) I never thought I could feel relaxed by something like this... but here I am... falling asleep to it lol

So I said to her “Emily it’s not my fault nothing wants to be in your greasy ass hair” She never talked to me again Edit: I see a lot people in the replies confused because they thought black people couldn’t get lice. I wondered for so long why my scalp is itchy watching ASMR then I realised it's where the tingles start, now this video is another itch level thank you 😆
Normally, I can only watch the same ASMR video about 2-3 times before it no longer triggers me (because my body/mind familiarized the sounds) but I think this is like my 10th time watching this video and I still get tingles!
