Love all your thrift finds. I really enjoy the thrifting videos. Glad to see Nick enjoying the sun - usually Nora is the star. Always brightens my day to see them. ❤
Hi, Deborah!!!! Thanks!!! Usually it's Nora that is hanging around me when I'm doing videos but I got lucky this time with Nicky. I try to make sure I get at least one of them in every video :).
Hi Gena! I love your thrift with me videos! Not only do you find the most amazing pieces but the way you film these videos makes me feel as if I’m there shopping with a friend 💚
Hi Gena, you are just all smiles. I love how happy you always are. Kira’s pottery were so pretty. I thought the urban outfitters sweater is going to look really cute on you. Thank you for another thrift shopping video. Have a wonderful day❤
Hi, Sylvia!!! You are so sweet...thank you. Sometimes I rewatch my video and think I'm smiling too much, but it's hard not to when I'm just enjoying what I'm doing so much LOL. I'll just keep on smiling because it's what I naturally want to do :). Thank you sooo much!!! I hope you had a wonderful day too. I had a very busy day but also very exciting. You'll see what I was up to today, on Sunday :). Have a great rest of your week!!!!
Thanks Paul!!!! There was one planter I forgot to include because I had already potted a plant in it. So it slipped my mind. It's actually my favorite of all I found this past month. I'll have to include it in my plant favorites for September since I've been enjoying the combo for a few weeks now :).
Thank you!!! I'm so glad you like these. I watch a lot of thrift-with-me videos on UA-cam. My husband laughs because he says I go thrifting and then I watch thrifting. I'm addicted, what can I say LOL. Thank you so much I hope you have a wonderful day as well :).
Gosh, I can't believe how much stuff they have! Love the milkglass items. Reminds me of my Mom. Actually, I also like their choice of music, sort of soft jazz?!👏👍 Have fun shopping. I'll CK back later and see what you got!!
The soft jazz is what I've added. They actually have a GW station that they play music from, it's a mix of different types but mostly like top 40 stuff. And SUPER loud. I edited it all out because of the whole copyright issue...don't want to take a chance of it being picked up. Thanks Cherie!!!!
Oh the Hull is so nice! I am always so excited to find a piece at a thrift store. I might not buy it because I have so much, but it’s like a treasure hunt for me. Good find! 🩷
Hi Gena! It was a pleasure meeting you and I hope we can do it again some time. I am stuck at work so these videos make me feel like I'm out thrifting! I love the handmade pottery goblets! Yes, I am always looking for those. But I rarely see them in green. I just put a nursery pot in them. I like egg cups for the same purpose. The Hull planters are also very nice. I'm so happy to see someone put those pretty hand-painted saucers (some are transfer ware) to a good use. I see so many of them in thrift stores.
Hi, Kyra!!! Same here!!!! I'm thrilled to have all of these new pottery pieces too. I agree, the mushroom planter is perfect for the rattan chair. Thank you so much again :).
Love the mushroom planter in the rattan or wicker chair right there beside you next to your other baskets!! My grandmother would have floated gardenia or camellia blossoms in the Swans!! Great hauls, great video! I think those may be strawberries and raspberries on that cute skirt!!
As soon as I stuck the mushroom pot in that rattan chair I knew that was the one for it :). Thanks Cherie!!!! Yup...they are strawberries and raspberries. Love a pretty fruit print!!!!
Thanks, Cheryl!!! Anthropologie is my weakness for home decor LOL. I haven't checked out their planters in a while. I'll have to see what's new. I love that we have some the same :).
Thank you!!! I wish I bought those first two items LOL. Both were gone the next time I went in. I thought that elephant stand was so cute too. I think it might have been for a candle but would have totally worked great as a plant stand.
Hi, Sylvia!!! Thanks!!! I know....what is wrong with me sometimes???? LOL I THINK the reason I left it is it looked like it was missing paint and then I think it was covered in tape and I was afraid removing the tape would remove even more of the paint. I could be totally wrong about that but that's what it looked like to me at the time. It was so adorable though :).
That green mushroom pot is so adorable!! Great finds too! Maybe my goodwill needs to hire a home good person, those sections have been pretty scant in my local goodwill
I used to collect antique English plates. I now mix and match them and use them for our every day meals. Otherwise, they'd just sit in the cupboard! In all the years that we've been using them, only one plate has been broken. I ended up using that plate in a mosaic 😅🌿🩷
I just knew that you grabbed that little tree-I can’t believe that you didn’t! My daughter loves those little tea plates for her plants as well. I like buying plates and basically anything that I can set a plant in that didn’t have a saucer.
When I went back it was gone!!! Of course LOL. I was really regretting leaving that one behind. I need to just go with my first instinct on things. If I like it, just take it home, otherwise I'll regret it later. The tea plates are so pretty and perfect for underneath saucerless planters :).
HI Gena!!! I just love your thrift with me videos! I like the floral plates made in Italy, so pretty! There is a tiny charity/thrift store in my area that posts on Instagram every week, and they got in a ton of Pink and Green Depression Glass. I've always wanted to add some pink, so I might check them out. I love the handmade pottery and your strawberry/raspberry skirt so pretty!! The planter on the rattan chair is a perfect match!!
Hi, Nicole! Thank you!!! pink and green depression glass sounds like something I would enjoy :). I love vintage colored glass as well. I hope you pick something up!!!!
I love handmade pottery! There were a few pieces I would have picked up. One thing I saw was an insert for a African violet pot. Love the praying mantis plate.
Hi Gena! I wrote you yesterdsy when I watched your thrilling thrift video and it did the disappearing act.....I just loved the pottery you got as a gift.....it amazing me how all this beautiful pottery is floating around out there.....I have the blue and green one you just got! You make me want to run out and thrift! I love the strawberry skirt! It will be perfect for spring/summer.....you will have to do a houseplant tour in it :)...loving the little plates you find lately too...so happy you gound a couple rooms to put blue in! The blue bug bit you :) I am planning to send you some clippings sometime at the beginning of next month....talk to you soon! Loved the video so much...♡tina
Hi Tina!!! The blue bug HAS bitten me LOL. Thanks for taking the time to write TWICE!!!! Glad this one made it through :). Sounds perfect...let me know what sort of clippings you would be interested in as well. I have forgotten if you already said. I will for sure do a houseplant tour in that skirt :). Luv ya!!!
I thrifted one of those panda pots for my moms lucky bamboo but it had three pandas hanging around the pot. Also I love the swan pots too! I have three of different variation and sizes ☺️
Such nice finds! Hull pottery is very popular and I have a piece or two. I collect cups and saucers and my late mother gave me quite a few and others I bought at estate sales before Covid and some on Ebay. I have a lot of orphan saucers from estate sales and yours are especially nice. I always look for the flower patterns. I also collect swans (and many other things) and I have a couple of swan planters and the one you bought is so pretty.
Thank you so much! I wish I could have gotten a couple of more pieces of the Hull pottery, but that's ok. I do like the two I was able to get and I am grateful those were left behind!!!! I think we must have very similar tastes in things :).
Great findings. Your good will stores has great stuff and prices are really affordable. In Canada where I live prices are just unbelievable 😕 I started to buy those tea cup plates in 2020 for my plants, they are adorable 😍
I was at my GW today again and they had even more things. It's so nice when they are so fully stocked. I'm sorry to hear yours are overpriced :(. That's a real bummer. Mine will occasionally price things "wrong" but for the most part they do a great job. Thank you!!! :)
Sounds like a nice collection! They are really something special. I love when I stumble across one at the thrifts. It doesn’t happen very often which makes it even more special when it does 😊.
OHHH I saw so many pretty things I would have grabbed. A couple you just slid on by without commenting. The praying mantis is wonderful! I wonder if that one pot and saucer you said you did not know what it was made of might have been plaster of Paris? That first blue pot you showed is so pretty. Need to find a blue saucer for it. Love the Hull planters and that darling wicker chair. Yu really score some cute things.
Hi, Chris!!! There you are :). I was going to write you because you've been a bit silent lately and I was worried LOL. I think that's exactly what it was made of, Plaster of Paris. I really want to thrift with you one day!!!! I think we would have a lot of fun. Thanks :).
@@ThePinkTrellis All is good. I volunteered at the local thrift store last week and work again tomorrow. Otherwise I had to rebuild a door for my high rise kitty kennel and it started out to be a sand and paint but it just started falling apart on me. I ended up making a whole new door. It was not fun. I took a photo and will send it to you on IG. The windows are not on it yet. They side into the two open spaces. I was just too tired to do more today.
It’s not just plates! It’s mugs, bowls, pillows, throws, ornaments, Christmas decor…..all become collectibles once they are sold out. It’s a cult lol. I won’t pay ridiculous prices unless it’s something I really really want. But otherwise if I see something I love I grab it before it’s sold out so there are no future regrets lol. Personally I feel like what they are putting out now is nowhere near the cuteness of the past. I don’t find myself wanting much these days which is a good thing for us lol. They just released their Christmas/holiday decor and I think this is the first year I don’t see something I want to get.
@@ThePinkTrellis Ooooh good to know! I’m a big thrifter as well, so I’m going to be on the lookout for their stuff from now on. Excited to maybe get some finds! Thanks for sharing.
I take most things to Salvation Army store…..and I find nice things there also. Occasionally to Goodwill….but they charge too much. Local church thrift stores has low cost ‘planty’ things too!
Funny thing over here the Salvation Army is more expensive than the Goodwill. My favorite thrifts of all are the non-corporate ones...the little non-profit thrifts. They have the best stuff and all the money they take in goes to charity :).

Hi, AM!!!! Thank you so much!!! I will for sure be doing more thrifting videos since everyone seems to enjoy those!!! For the skirt, I'll probably just do a white blouse. I'll wear it next spring in a video :). Thanks and I hope you are doing well. Lots of love from the US :).
I'm really wishing I picked those up now LOL. I saw it said chargers but had never heard of that term before for something like that. They were gone when I went back today....of course.
I love your thrifting videos

I love handmade pottery! There were a few pieces I would have picked up. One thing I saw was an insert for a African violet pot. Love the praying mantis plate.
I see those AV inserts a lot! I always wonder what happened to the outside pieces!!!! They must break easily. Thank you :).
