Thanks for your support. I had to have a break while I had some work to do but will do several UA-cams featuring the east coast then new Norfolk then back up to the north west coast with a focus on Ulverstone. Cheers Pete
Fingal Valley and At Mary's are special places in Tasmania. Coming very soon I bus down to St Helens then to Bicheno and then a marvellous bus route 737 back to Hobart.
Thanks Julian. Season 2 will be great starting off with UA-cams on east coast buses then new Norfolk then Ulverstone. The UA-cams will also highlight visits to breweries etc.
The bus route through the Fingal is a lot of fun and St Mary's a great destination. Will release another 3/4 UA-cams on the east coast shortly. I am currently videoing on the north west coast but the plan is to Launceston to Cressy and to Deloraine very soon. I would very much like to do a video on Hadspen services which nowadays run 7 days a week. So the plan is to sneak that in when I am back in Launceston. Thanks for your support and suggestion Pete
Good on ya. It is a great trip there by bus. I do have plans to do a UA-cam on Elephant Pass and down to Coles Bay. transferring buses does work and the resultant journeys I agree can be amazing. Check out the West Coast and North east if you haven't already. Great drivers on these routes. cheers Pete
@tasmanianbusjourneys9406 i haven't been because most of my journeys are centres on Launceston, my home town, so I hope to fo them sometime but I don't expect it to be anytime soon
Tasmania bus routes are great but we could do with more folks using them so I am pleased to highlight what fun it is to travel on Tasmanian bus services. Thanks Pete
I think route 191 is a great route with an interesting bus shelter and park at the end. As I write I am videoing up in the north west coast so hopefully I can do a short video of 191. My focus will be on routes 180 and 190. Prior to that I will publish videos on the east coast. Thanks for your support Pete
Yes I hope do that bus journey as a UA-cam. It is terrific trip very scenic. I have done it twice without videoing it BUT there are some challenges with the service.. If you watched my west coast journeys the service Queenstown to Hobart which I planned to UA-cam was cancelled on a Friday in july due to snow. A real problem on the day as the next service was not until the following Tuesday. Not only is the Queenstown to Hobart service infrequent only running twice a week but not an "official" State Government passenger transport service hence subject to cancellation as well the fare is high. But having said all that, it is an unique journey and I hope to combine the journey Hobart to queenstown through to Strahan or further up the north west to Stanley. Thanks for your interest cheers Pete
Interesting question. Depends on what attributes you value. Here are just a few. Distance to bus stop : Both very close Food : Both really good based on one meal a chicken parmi a slight edge to St Marys. Beer choice : For my bus travelling pallet both average. Room : Both adequate with good share bathrooms. Internal Features : Empire ahead with grand staircase and dining room External appearance: Both wonderful utter heritage Customer Service and vibe: Both good with a slight edge to St Marys although I was there on a night with a happy hour. I would highly recommend both. Appearance : Empire
Great to see you back😊 looking forward to your next addition.

Excellent record of the trip through the Fabulous Fingal Valley. I agree regarding the pub too - an excellent food and drink centre!

Also an addition to my last comment. Are you planning on doing the Queenstown to Hobart (direct) any time soon? I would love to see the experience!

how did the pub compare to the empire hotel? any better or about the same?

Thank you for the honest review 😁 I remember the empire hotel when I was a kid in the early 90s. That place was rough, loud and no air ventilation.
It has improved since the nineties but as I always value accommodation close to a bus stop i tend to overlook other issues.
