Hi Egils, really appreciate your videos, i think they are the best on the web. I would appreciate it if you could do a video on the shadow reverse turn in samba. I really like that move and am having problems executing it.

Very keenly, Egais, since I know how to do the Natural Spin Turn, I see that the mechanics of the Outside Spin are a little bit like that Natural Spin Turn, but I do know that in the Outside Spin, the first step happens OP for leader--just before that lovely spin happens. In the Natural Spin Turn, however, I know the spin does not happen until step 4 of the figure.

Hi lily, thanks for interesting question. There are three turns
a) from closed hold Man rises L had, Lady R hand and turns 1/2 to left ending on Man’s right side in shadow position with double hand hold. Lady’s steps LR
b) from shadow position Lady continues Turn to Left (1/2 Turn) with three step Turn (steps LRL) ending facing Man in open position with double hand hold
c) from open facing position with double hold Man rises Right hand, Lady Left hand and turns 1/2 Turn to Right (steps RL) ending in shadow position with double hand hold on Man’s left side. And both look to stars ✨:)
