- Guys, I need help, please! This video SHOCKED ME! 😱
Making seafood pasta is much easier than this, it is ok to use frozen seafood but you always need to opt for quality products that allow you to create a good dish!
Everything about this video was disgusting, but do they really cook pasta like this in Florida? Let me know in the comments.

She's the kind of lady to think of olive garden as a Michelin star restaurant😂😂
Hahaha this is so accurate 😂😂
In what world is a tire company the best judge of restaurants to begin with???
@@natrixxvision6997 Oh you're are so right. Thanks for this genius insight..... wow!
@@narvul It was an advertising gimmick aimed at (stupid American) tourists. “We make the best tires. So go ahead you’re in France. Take a drive. Oh hey here’s a good restaurant.”
@@natrixxvision6997 Never heard of it. Is it an American thing?
I live in Florida, Vincenzo, and I have never seen this kind of gross pasta. My mother's family is Siciliano and Napolitano , and so I make authentic Italian pasta dishes, and Italian-American ones too. Maybe I'll film a video one day and call it "How pasta is REALLY made in Florida."
Well, you know you're in for some Floridian pasta adventure when it's NOT like mamma used to make! 😅 Can't wait to see your "Florida Pasta Chronicles"! 🌴🍝
I'm proud of this woman for even knowing that they should be removed from the packaging before baking 😉
Me too, that's sth very difficult to do 😅
If she had half a brain, she'd be a half-wit.
@@vincenzosplate Barilla here in Palma de Mallorca doesn't look like that, I suppose the Company distributes the worse to the Americans since they eat so poorly and have no respect for ingredients. I buy Armando, it's not the very best but I find it better than Barilla.
What vexes me the most is her wearing an Apron! There's something truly sick about it, she prepared herself for disrespecting food.
As a floridian I deeply apologize for this, we do love seafood down here and many people dont have brain cells so I wouldn't be suprised if some pasta degenerates actually do this for real, but we also use lots of fresh seafood and we hace many high quality authentic italian cuisine as well :D I personally always get fresh fish and use high quality pastas (and cook like a normal person, like, you know, cooking the pasta in boiling water)
I'm sure you guys know how to cook and this video doesn't represent you. I'm sorry she mentioned Florida!! ❤️
Karen here probably moved down from like Iowa to Ponce Inlet after her husband retired and tells everyone she's "From Florida" now.
This dish has rural middle-class Midwestern energy to it.
Yes I was gonna say it’s Florida fresh seafood
Don't you have a chef police? Give her one month of correctional labor😂😂😂
I live in South Florida and yes, we do tend to get fresh fish instead of getting Frozen. At least my family does. Frozen shrimp tastes like ice anyways. 😂
This is the kind of food you make when you are so drunk that you won't even remember it the next day.
Haha! 😂 You're absolutely right, some dishes are best left in the realm of blurry memories. Cheers to better culinary adventures ahead! 🍝👨🍳🥂😅
"look how careful she is... " ... I cracked up when you said that !
Ahahha thank you my friend
It's one thing to cook like this and serve it to your family or friends but it's an entirely different thing to actually video tape yourself while making it and uploading for the public, all the while being so proud of your creation.
Honestly it's shocking! 😳
Imitation crab meat is disgusting
I think it's worse to make this for your family and friends because they'll be sitting there trying to swallow this and being too polite to say what they really think of it.
I live in Florida. I DO NOT cook seafood like this and neither does anyone else I know in Florida!
Haha, no offense taken! You're absolutely right; this seafood catastrophe doesn't represent the real Florida cuisine. Let's stick to authentic flavors! 🌴🐟🍝
In the Netherlands we have a saying:
In the land of the blind, One-eye is King.
Im this case Lady Florida is totally blind.
Obviously most Floridians nowadays are import. The Original Floridians are the Natives ("Red Indians"), in my opinion.
That saying is quite fitting here! 😄 Lady Florida's culinary adventures might not always hit the mark, but let's keep exploring and learning together! 🌴👨🍳🇳🇱
That was both traumatic & hilarious to watch 😂😂 forget breaking the spaghetti, I died inside when she put water in the jar & starting shaking it & incorporating it into that horrific dish 🤢
Hahahah it was traumatic from begining to end 😅🤢
Priceless comment…thank you for the hilarity!
I wouldn't let my dog even look at that monstrosity 🤣🤣
i tried your spageti alpomodoro and my staff love it and has become my signiture for party at work! tq u for the recipes
Wow this is great to hear my friend 🙏🏻 I’m super glad you tried my Spaghetti al Pomodoro recipe and even happier your staff loved it 😍
After watching the video, I am very sure that this must be a funny cooking video.😎
In this day, everyone will watch videos on the Internet to learn how to cook. She can do this... and put it on the Internet. Congratulations to everyone for making her ratings soar while scolding her~🤣🤣
I'm in South Louisiana. My family would disown me if I served this 😩
I hope her fingernail polish doesn't chip off into the food 😬
Ahhaha i hope it too!!
I live in NOLA too, this looked like cat food and that’s being generous!
@@Goboltsgomax I'm in Lafayette. I think maybe possibly there might be a chance the possums that rove my yard at night may take a taste if I left it outside. But, that's probably doubtful 🤔

Vincenzo, you continue to bring me both great cooking techniques, but also horrors beyond comprehension
Haha I'm sorry 😅 this video was truly shocking
She's using imitation crab, but lives near the ocean. We use imitation crab in Kansas, but we're in the middle of the county. I would love fresh crab.
Absolutely! When you have access to fresh seafood near the ocean, it's a seafood lover's dream. 🦀🌊 Imitation crab has its place, but there's nothing quite like the real thing! Enjoy those ocean-fresh flavors if you can get them! 🍽️👌
Thanks for the tip to freeze mozzarella. I will be making it homemade this week and now I can make extra and freeze it. Love it!
You're welcome! Stay tuned for more useful tips 😊🇮🇹
@@vincenzosplate I will. The mozzarella was a success. Will freeze half. The ricotta went wrong. Making wood fired pizza and panouzzo tonight for dinner. That was a great video too! Love learning how to make dishes authentically.
Ive never heard Vincenzo so depressed and lost for words. "Look guys, mozzarella with prawns and crab... Sure maybe *sighs* you need more flovours in there"😂😂😂
Hahahahah it was hard to find the words for this video 😂
Hi Vinceso!
I think this was the worst pasta "creation" I've ever seen.
I use to learning from you and I will.
I'm lucky because I can get those red and yellow DOP marked products nearby.
Two years ago I made carbonara by following Your recipe for my bestie.
She was absolutely shocked by your original pasta dish, she told me:
"I never ever eat carbonara before, all of those things was fake f***!"
So Vinceso thank you for your hard work, thank you for attitude and thank you all for this community to save the the originals!
Thanks a lot everyone! ❤
That's wonderful to hear that you've been learning and enjoying authentic Italian cuisine through my recipes! 🇮🇹🍝 It's important to celebrate the true flavors of Italy and preserve its culinary traditions. Thank you for being a part of this community that appreciates and values authenticity in food! ❤️🍽️😊
Place a viewer discretion warning next time, I don't think this pasta is allowed by the Geneva Conventions haha. Thank you for your videos, they are a blessing. Ever since I found you, I was sold to philosophy: fewer but high quality ingredients.
Haha, I'll consider adding a viewer discretion warning for the particularly outrageous culinary disasters! 😄 I'm glad you've embraced the philosophy of using fewer, high-quality ingredients. That's the essence of authentic Italian cooking! 🇮🇹🍝👨🍳
She should have just combined all the fish, cubed mozzarella, and olives with some short pasta (which she cooked separately and chilled) with some olive oil, lemon, and pepper and made a cold seafood pasta salad. May not be authentic Italian, but a nice chilled pasta dish in the hot Florida weather. Lots of recipes for that on You Tube.
That's a brilliant idea! A refreshing seafood pasta salad would have been a much better choice for the Florida heat. Sometimes, a little creativity can lead to delicious results without straying too far from the Italian spirit. 🌞🍝🐟🥗
Parmigiano is Italian, parmesan is English. In Spanish we say parmesano.
You're absolutely right! 🧀 Parmigiano, parmesan, parmesano - it's all about that delicious cheese, no matter how you say it! 🇮🇹🧀🇪🇸
I live in Florida and I don't cook like this😢 . I buy fresh seafood from Hull's , our local fish market.

Do you perhaps live in O.B? Because I shop at Hulls.

Having been forced to live 13 years in Florida as a kid, I believe 100% that this is indeed a Florida woman. The high humidity causes brain mold.
Haha, brain mold from the Florida humidity, you say? 😂 Well, whatever the cause, let's hope for more culinary sanity in the Sunshine State! 🌞🍝😆

Haha! I feel your pain! 🤣 Some of those Facebook cooking videos can be quite...interesting, to say the least. It's all about the authenticity in Italian cooking! 🇮🇹👨🍳
I've used frozen shrimp but I live far from the ocean and it's not as easy to get good fresh ones where i live. If for some reason I ever moved to Florida I would take advantage of being by the sea.
That makes perfect sense! 🍤 Living by the sea in Florida would be a seafood lover's dream. Fresh ingredients can make all the difference in your dishes. 🌊🍽️😊
Because of your video i found in my store long dried pasta with 14 grams of protein and right colour) now my pasta changed forever, and it didn't cost much more! Thank you Vincenzo👌
That's awesome to hear! 😄 Finding those hidden gems in the store can really elevate your pasta game. Keep experimenting and enjoying delicious meals! 🍝👨🍳👌
As another born and raised Floridian I do not claim this woman - where my family lives now are actually famous for our fresh mayport shrimp, right off the boat. My family makes pasta like normal people - we are originally from Miami and in 40 years I have never seen anyone make pasta like this. This is not a Florida thing.
You're absolutely right, fellow Floridian! 🌴🦐 Florida's all about that fresh seafood and delicious pasta done right. This recipe's definitely taking some creative liberties! 😄🍝
4:27 if you happen to find Barilla’s Al Bronzo Pasta, they’re red packaged and are much better than regular barilla. They’re bronze die cut and better semolina.

I live in South Florida by the beach. You can get seafood fresh seafood from the pier when the boats come back from fishing. I’m not sure where she got that this is Florida pasta, this is disgusting!

That's fantastic to hear! 🌊🍝 Fresh seafood and quality pasta make all the difference. Proud to inspire you to make authentic Italian dishes with amore! 😊🇮🇹
When she held the pasta by each end and started to break it, I legit covered my mouth with my hand, concerned for Vincenzo’s mental health. Thats legit the last thing I would ever do, much less with an Italian chef watching me, that’s just playing with fire 🔥

Only one thing i disagree with you is your opinion about Barilla. It's not THAT bad IMHO. For every day meal Barilla is fine, for special occasions i go with La Molisana or De Cecco 😋
Greetings from Poland 😉
I'm proud of you too! I'm sure your bolognese must have tasted amazing at the end 😊
It's a good pasta but if I want to make super good impression online, I'd go for a better brand 😊
thank you so much for not having the cursor on screen this time
I don't know about seafood in Florida but in most of the US, flash frozen seafood on a boat that has just caugth the seafood is much fresher that unfrozen from the fishmonger at the supermarket.
You're absolutely right! Flash-frozen seafood right on the boat can often be fresher and of higher quality compared to seafood that has been sitting unfrozen at the supermarket. It's a common practice to preserve the quality and taste of seafood. Thank you for highlighting this important point! 🦐🐟👨🍳😄
They should quarantine that house
Haha, I know it can get messy in the kitchen sometimes, but let's not resort to quarantine just yet! 😂🍝
Did i miss the seasoning going in? Also If I had loved ones and treated them to that dish, they would not love me anymore.
You didn't miss much seasoning in this dish; it seemed quite lacking in that department! 😅 And yes, serving that dish to loved ones might indeed test the limits of their affection. Let's stick to dishes that bring people together in culinary joy! 🍝❤️😄
Vincenzo, I love you and your videos. This is another example of a video from someone who can't really cook, making a "simple" recipe. It takes some skill to cook, these people do not have any.
Thank you for the love! Cooking is indeed an art that requires skill and practice. It's important to appreciate those who put in the effort to learn and create delicious dishes. Let's hope for more culinary adventures that showcase true cooking talent! 🍽️👨🍳😊

What do you expect from Florida ?
I am sure there are people that know how to cook there, but knowing there is also someone that cooks like this really shock me!

I completely agree!!! I won’t eat out or at anyone’s house!
Oh wow really? I hoped that only this woman cooked like this, but instead it saddens me to know that many people cook like this
Yes, in general most Americans love cooking this way, dumping everything into one pot, usually food from jars and cans, and cooking it... I think they forgot how to really cook...😢
FYI. Barilla actually has a side-brand called Barilla al bronzo where they make the pasta properly (with a price point to match) and it's really good, actually my favourite. The standard brand is crap though.

Florida is just so remote from saltwater, there are no fresh seafood available.😂
I remember having tried to make fresh pasta (German style) in FL 30y ago. The options for getting the very basic ingredients where nit great. It was not about getting the right flour, but getting any not contaminated with any „make it easier“ chemicals.
It can certainly be challenging to find certain ingredients, especially if you're looking for traditional or specific items in a region where they might not be as readily available. Cooking can sometimes involve creative substitutions when faced with limited options. Fortunately, the availability of ingredients has improved over the years, making it easier for people to explore and enjoy a wide range of cuisines. 😄🍝👨🍳
