"Planes take no skill": Bf5 plane montage

- Players have always complained about planes being OP in bf5, and infer that they take very little skill to use. While this is true for many aspects such as rocket spamming, 4000lb bombs, taking pictures to spot the entire map, high alting, etc., this video shows some of the more skilled parts of flying in bf5. Unfortunately, in most situations of bf5 dogfighting when you have an enemy plane on your 6, the quickest and most efficient way to get them off your tail is usually to cut as much speed as possible (stalling) to get them to overshoot. While this requires good knowledge of throttle control, I will showcase the more skilled side of dogfighting in another video since those clips are longer.

Hey man, I use to really enjoy flying, but how do you avoid AAs and Fliegerfausts
Im assuming you found a solution for this but i would advice to simply avoid those areas or take out the AA guns fast. For the fliegerfaust, its hard but dont get too close to the ground.

Everytime part of my plane touches the water the game takes all of my speed away and slowly plunges me under and kills me for deserting

Probably you use a lower FOV so it feels slower

The lack of effective AA in the game makes any loadout pretty OP. I don't know why Dice Sweden made it so planes can outrange the effective range of AA but it's like shooting fish in a barrel when I fly, especially when ground targets literally glow in first person views.
This is so not true. Just yesterday I got shot down on my own aircraft carrier before I even started moving by aa. And of the AA had unlimited range, which they come very close to, it would be downright impossible to fly planes. The AA is already too op

Compare to bf3 planes really takes no skill in bf5.
You don't need to control your speed.
In bf4 it's really hard to kill good pilot in dogfight when in bf5 you just pressing W and your plane doing any manuevers.

Killing defenseless infantry, holding back on the throttle/dipping half your plane into water, and killing aircraft that didn't even know you existed. Really making it obvious planes require skill. Not to mention the instances where you camped the edge of the map and your resupply location.

You DO know how challenging of a maneuver wing dipping is right? 99% of every newbie pilot I've ever taught, struggle with it their first couple of weeks.
@@imawsomeandyournot6108weeks bro, i’ve struggled my entire journey of almost a thousand hours on bf3 even after i’ve learnt to df , only in 5 is where I really believed like, lil bro, the sky is mine , there is not a single dogfighter in bfv that I would struggle to beat, might be equal at best . In ranked , number people who were better than me in any game I played were : 0 . I write all these down out of emotions due to having played so much , losing all the dfs and in the end , I came out as the best of the best . My point also being that it takes much devotion to be a competent pilot . And there are adequate anti air for the ground players as well , it is easy to write down a comment about how easy it is to fly than to fly yourself .
@@muhtasimfuad1945 I guess that just goes to show the value of a good teacher. Can turn what might take someone months to learn, into something learned in a couple of weeks.
In a throttle down , its back to a 50/50 if the guys at 6 does not slow down , if he is afraid to fight a 50/50 df and slows down as well, he was never winning that one way or other .
