It's been an honor fighting by your side, no, seriously. As a person who has watched your videos silently while not playing the hero at all, it's amazing to see how much you have grown, when I first began to watch you, you had like 8000 subs, and now you have 35k, and have come so far. It's been an honor to help you with the discord and with your videos!!

@@uabir8338 normally I'd ignore a comment like this but I'm curious as to what parts (assuming you finished/watched the video) you thought were filler? Blizzard gave me 10 minutes to talk about 5 different things and while writing the script I desperately wish I had MORE time to use lol
Huh? Blizz already knows about Superjump. The OWL UA-cam did a tutorial on it a year ago and Geoff Goodman head balance designer literally said on Reddit last month that it’s here to stay because it’s consistent and not overpowered. Niandra just didn’t talk about GA tech this video bc she already has a whole video on it which she linked at the end.
haha, I kind of meant it in a joking manner, as it was originally a bug and an "unofficial mechanic" lol. But yes, Niandra has many superjump tech videos already, that it would be redundant to say it again xD
Over the course of the past year of watching your videos I have become so much better at mercy and climbed from gold to high plat. Thank you so much for all the help and keep up the great work!
I’ve climbed from silver to masters as mercy from watching all ur videos 💗 thank you for the amazing content and congrats on the huge sponsor!! you deserve it 100%
I love the visual demonstrations you do, like getting bots to stand in certain places so you can show what you are talking about :) it must have taken a long time but it makes for a really good video! Keep up the good work
Pffffft as if Merkle even needed a guide. Everyone knows she’s the easiest hero in the game. We’re all just here for the feet pics. (In all serious grats Niandra on this sponsorship!!! You’ve helped so many players earn their wings and I hear your voice berating me any time I super jump for no damn reason. Keep up the good work!!!)
I have been playing Mercy since the game's release, and got over 1200 hours on her.. yet, I always love watching your videos ^^ Not only can I always learn something new, but it is also nice to get a tip/info refresh on the character and its more niche tactics. Plus your clear explanations with visual support makes it easier to remember the things we tend to forget after playing for so long (for example, it made me realize that after taking a break from OW for a while, I tend to get lazy during GA and forget to look around for what I should do next). As always, great video and keep up your awesome work
Congratulations on the sponsorship!! You deserve it, you’ve helped me and so many others learn and become better with Mercy. Thank you and once again, congrats!!❤️
Over the course of watching your videos, I've climbed from 900 to 3.8k sr and I cannot thank you enough for the amount of amazing content you've provided this community; I would never have made it this far without the help of your guides and VOD reviews. Thank you so much for the high-quality content and congrats on getting sponsored by Blizzard, you more than deserve it!
HOLY crap, that's insane. Big grats. I agree completely about Niandra's content. So much value packed into every second of every video. Dang though, that climb! Care to share what things you changed that made a difference? I've had some climbing struggles myself (never been as low as 900 even when I WAS bronze many years ago). I have a career high of 2.8k back before role queue, and was plat several seasons, but mostly have just been gold. Who I duo with makes a lot of difference (I can have a skilled duo partner, but if they tilt too easily, it ends up as a massive net loss, just as an example - this is actually a big factor in my SR stagnation). Did you find a good duo partner(s)? How much do you solo queue? I am always afraid to solo queue heals in general, though I do it occasionally. Sorry for all the questions! I read a lot of fellow Mercy players talk about climbing, but a lot of the time they don't specify if they have a big preference to solo or duo. I've always had so much better success having someone I can rely on and have synergy with, even if it's a support duo. Anyway thanks for reading this! (Oh and yeah I love dmg boost a lot, though more recently I've been on a "I'll dmg boost more than my comfort zone" mindset and it seems to work well - which is cool since I already damage boosted A LOT as it was, definitely way more than typical Mercys in my elos.) But yeah just interested in what worked for you to really amp your play to the next level, if possible! If not that's ok.
@@karamei i'm not the commenter but hopefully this helps you- i didnt make quite the same climb, i only went from low gold to masters. this was in the span of 1 season. mostly solo queue and occasional duo queue with my friends. the best tip i can give is to never die. find that balance between being unkillable and still supporting your team. different things will work in different elo's and its up to you to understand what you can get away with. value your life above all else
@@tay3167 thanks! Yeah this for sure is important. I do focus on survival, though it's always something that can be improved! Congrats on your climb, I will definitely hold this more clearly in mind. And yeah there are definitely some things lower elo can get away with that get punished. Namely the degree of risk a res has.
I have nerver post a commentary on your channel but now i'm doing it . I just restart playing Overwatch since 3 weeks and as an old main mercy ( 700h ) but with 2years without playing I needed a video like this ^^ Thank you for this unbelievable work , btw I'm French , so love from France
Congrats on getting sponsored dude!! You've helped me so much with my mercy gameplay and I'm CONSTANTLY thinking about your tips almost every day that I'm playing lmao. You totally deserve this sponsor and official shout-out 🖤🤍

You are actually an amazing UA-camr. I’ve been a mercy main since I started playing the game, but never thought I was playing to the best of my ability. I’ve been binging all of your videos and they’ve actually been helping me improve. You can really see my skill difference from a week ago till now. I just wanted to thank you so much for your help. You are the blessing I never knew I needed 🙏🏻
Great Job on the video! Im so happy you got sponsored by Blizzard, you deserve it. After all you've helped many of us climb to ranks we didnt think we would be able to reach so thank you! (To anyone reading the comments who hasn't joined the discord, you totally should its a lot of fun)
Thank you! As someone who just started this game and trying to choose who to play/learn how to play, I appreciate your fundamental explanations of how Mercy works. My BF always says we need a healer, so I thought I'd try since I have questionable aim apparently (LOL). Most other videos I tried watching had me so confused, but yours was very easy to grasp. 💜
i'm a console ow support coach for a team competing currently. your videos have helped me soooo much!!! your ability to explain yourself clearly and cover basics visually is so helpful for both me as a coach and my team. honestly thank you so much for doing what you do ❤️
I saw this on the ow ig profile and i got so happy, you helped me so much during my climb from gold to masters, your guides are always amazing, thanks for being the best 😩💕
that intro is the exact reason I play mercy, those rez's that shouldn't of happened are the sweetest. I'd also like to confess something, sometimes as mercy when two people are critical and still being attacked... instead of healing both I'll let a tank drop if I think I can save another and get the rez off (tanks = greatest HPS for rez after all).
it just makes sense to do this sometimes. if someone is critical, it just means they have 50% or less of their health left. a critical tank could have 250hp left, but a critical squishy has 100hp or less. it makes sense to prioritize a critical squishy over a critical tank in many situations.
This is great for beginners, and congrats on the sponsor! No mention or demonstration of superjump though - is this because it's technically a bug, and Blizzard doesn't want to advertise their game as being buggy?
blizzard did release a statement saying that they dont think of superjump as a bug and more of "tech", and they have no plans of removing it or "fixing" it any time soon!
Legendary Mercy main, Niandra, with another fantastic collection of tips. Very noticeable missing movement tip is definitely covered in another video. Congrats on the Blizzard sponsorship!
Congratulations! You deserve it after helping me and so many other mercy mains! Personally, you helped me climb out of bronze and into medium to high gold!
I was so excited to see this on the Battle.net front page. It's great that Blizzard is acknowledging the hard work you've put into your content. Congrats :)
I swear anytime I think about making a guide video, you just do it but like a trillion times better LOL. I'm so happy you were chosen to do the Blizzard sponsored guide, though. You're definitely the one who deserves it the most. Literally hard-carrying Mercy content on UA-cam right now.
Thank u so much, Niandra! You're the best! Thanks to your incredible guide. I've finally reach masters for the first time after stuck on diamond for 3 years!
Hey Niandra, love your content. It's always so informative, even when I watch all your videos, there is always new food for thought (and admiration of the production value!). I was wondering if you would post more vods of your gameplay with commentary? I really enjoyed the open queue vod of yours that your commentated! If not, that's ok. All your content is a treat.
I really really love your videos. I haven't played OW in a while so it's nice to see content and how one of my mains is still viable. You are quite a cute person and always pour your all into your videos! Congrats on the sponsorship!
Came here from Battle.net! Holy crap this is a good video! Love the examples as well as the commentary! Man I feel like playing some Mercy right now xD
Another great use of Valkyrie is to avoid dying if at all possible (i.e. vs. short ranged heroes like Reaper, Rein, Zarya, Sym, Brig, or anyone who can't chase Mercy into the air or shoot her down). Using Valk to keep your beam attached to allies who are in dangerous situations is also useful, like if you know the enemy has grav or emp and it's the last fight, you can use Valk to avoid getting caught in those ults while still supplying value to your team, plus it means your team will be harder to kill for the duration of Valk which can win them they fight if they push hard enough to force the enemy off point.
hey this is a cool console tech bug, but mercys res (i think L2) if you hold it works like if you held X hope this will help you fellow console mercys! (ps love your videos its helped me alot climbing in competitive )
It's not a bug actually. Before mercy got rez as a cooldown ability, you could hold L2 to do Angelic Descent. When she got Rez on L2, console players(me included) didn't like how they deleted Angelic Descent from L2 because it was so easy to hold it to Descent and it got harder when they deleted it. Then they decided to put Angelic Descent and Rez on L2 at the same time so you can do both with a button for an easier usage.
Massive congrats for being sponsored by Blizzard! So well deserved for all the hard work you do ❤️

hey this is a cool console tech bug, but mercys res (i think L2) if you hold it works like if you held X hope this will help you fellow console mercys!
