Man Joel I am 23 yrs old now and I started watching you 10 years ago when I was 13! You were my Inspiration to start my UA-cam channel. I remember getting really into fireworks and I came across ur page one day and I swear I watched about all 70 of ur videos in 1 day! I stayed up all night addicted and then started my UA-cam channel right away because of you! All I have to say is you’re the real pyro king of UA-cam! You’re the true OG including display fireworks, goonies, pyro nation etc… there’s some UA-camrs on here getting insane views and idk how. You deserve way more subscribers and views than some of these guys and you probably know who I’m talking about. You are one of the true kings. Much love man. Insane show!!!
WOW! That was truly beautiful! A work of art! I have NEVER seen such an organized show in my 40 years in fireworks. I always say to friends and family that we will outlast and hit harder than anyone within ear shot of us on the 4th. But good Lord this show was beyond fantastic. Pound for pound imo, no one on you tube out did this show. May have fired more items, but not even in the ballpark of your level of professionalism. I have shared this with all my pyro friends. Absolutely, love the colors and the finale with whistling was perfection!
My god that wall of crackle!!! Joel, all that hard work, sweat, planning, prep for 8 minutes of pure beauty paid off 110%!! All the colors at ~3:10, horse tails galore... layering across the sky, ground mid high... so many good parts of this show I can't even go through them all!! Loved it! You killed it man!! I can't wait to do my first one, and it will be nothing this extreme or well working, but I have a goal!!
Dude - That Was AMAZING - Great Job... Those single shot comet runs were on the money - What was the product that you used at the end - the screaming vertical things at 7:02? That was a really nice show! I've added it to my "Best Fireworks Shows on UA-cam" Playlist. Just sayin'

Absolutely phenomenal job! Loved every second of it. Will you be posting a video on your field set-up? I would love to see more there - everything was spaced and layered beautifully. There is a wealth of knowledge that you have that I'm sure myself and others could learn from just by seeing how you do things. Great work!
I'm glad you enjoyed! The onsite video is public now! I didn't get to record as much as I wanted due to rain but I'm also going to do a show review live stream maybe next week!
Amazing show! Your design was very thoughtful and I thought it came across very nicely. Love the precision of all those 1.4 pro comets and mines. Used a bunch of the raccoon and spirit of '76 proline stuff on a big pro shoot this 4th, they honestly go toe-to-toe with our 1.3 stuff! Of course, hard to beat the impact that an 8" shell has... but they are seriously impressive for their cost and size. Speaking of cost - what is your 4th of July budget like? Are you self-funding it all? Through UA-cam income, I imagine? I'd really like to start getting into programming better neighborhood shows, but when I'm the one paying for everything, it's pretty dang hard to get it going. Even firing systems alone represent such a big barrier when there is no event sponsor...
Thanks man! Yes actually, I have a full video series on the prep work, including a live stream where we scripted the first song. I'll also be doing a review probably next week livw.
This was amazing! Soo many amazing beautiful colors throughout. Not gonna lie when those screamers took off around minute 7, that caught me soo of guard 🤣
The amount of times I screamed "what the f*ck!!" while watching this. This was the most INSANELY EPIC fireworks show I've ever seen. Like anywhere, ever!!! Holy cow dude.
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics Dude, I'll be honest. There were a few moments that I watered up. It was just so epic. I lost my mom to covid in '22 and have been a total b*tch this year, but there was something about this show that was just so incredibly epic. You hit all the feels. Plz just know that what you do matters to actual people. Not just "subs" but actual people who connect with your shows near and far on UA-cam. Thank you, Joel. Good luck outdoing yourself next year 😂
@@jedifam66 sorry to hear about your mother man! That's rough. My show in 2021 included a song/segment for similar reasons. Sometimes expressing or pulling that emotion out during something like this is the best thing. I have plenty of ideas for next year though!
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics I'll check out your '21 show. Thank you for the quick response! And for responding at all tbh. Man this means the world to me. So thank you! Patiently awaiting your 2024 show!
Great show! Congrats! I think my favorite part was the mine work throughout. Great angle and timing on their volleys. Nice color selection. Waterfall section and fish section fired well too. Only hiccup looks like the 3rd station started mistiming about 90s before the end. Humming to salutes was really popular this year.
Thanks man! The entire show audio drifted live. I know this because I tried putting the audio over the show during editing and you could hear the live audio changing speed.. which is something I dealt with previously on the COBRA Audio Box back in 2021 too. Some of the overall mine runs show the timing variance as they are slightly behind while the script they are dead on or even slightly early. Yeah, every brand seemed to have a humming cake produced in 2022/2023.
Um... 😮 THE best show I have seen in a Long time! I could litteraly blow sunshine up your ass via text for an hour, but I digress! 😉 Everything was excellent! Effect choice, placement, execution, choreography and color! Omg the colors were perfection! Congratulations brother! This is a well earned level of achievement! True professional in every aspect of the word! 😊
Joel bro awesome show! I’ve been doing back yard shows for 7 yrs now and hopefully I can get to your lvl, now I’m live in a state that it’s legal I’m looking forward to doing bigger shows soon, would love to pick ur brain and and talk with you
1:27 used two varieties of quick crackle cakes. 12s Finale Box: Quick Crackle (Simult) - 200g (Spirit of 76) Fanned Quick Crackle (Dominator) 1:42 Color Fish - 200g (Sky Bacon)
Joel, that was fantastic. Well thought out, power and finesse, great color, those looked like 62mm bowties excellent, the fish, the go getters, oh man that was awesome. I wished I could have saw that in person, as always thank you.
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics Ok, this is the 7th or 8th time I have watched the show. Excellent man, I like to study, you did some cool stuff in the show. Thanks Joel
This is insane. I would really want to know what the max shell size they used 3:37 is my favorite effect personally. I would have loved it id the shots was Double it would have greated the perfect total waterfall.
I’m so glad you’re still posting. You got me heavy into fireworks. I don’t have an area around me that I can do big shows like this. But you do help me with my firework shopping every year! I swear it’s been like 8-10 years now! Thank you for everything Joel! This was an AMAZING show! ❤️💙
Joel you are a true master of your craft! While you do awesome displays, im still shooting loud and rowdy, apocalypse, gorilla warfare and 4 million fireflies. I still keep on hand lighting and probably wont reach this level.
There is nothing wrong with still hand lighting products either! That brings a lot of joy and adrenaline too. That's how we all got hooked in the first place!
Great job, Joel. Great site to do this show too. When you make the final video and if it doesn't cause copyright issues, you might consider layering in the original soundtrack so it's a bit louder while still hearing the live audio too. It would really tie the whole thing together in the final video. Hats off- awesome work and creativity!
Thanks man! Oh, I tried, as that is what I normally do. But the live audio was so loud on my camera that it doesn't sound right when layered on there as well. Also, you can detect an audio drift on the live performance vs the original soundtrack. Almost like the COBRA Audio Box fluctuated by a few ms + or - throughout the performance, which was really disappointing. I have noticed the same exact issue in previous years too, but my camera was not by the sound system, so I could layer the original soundtrack, and you wouldn't detect it.
Ive been to or watched 100+ shows in my life. This is the best backyard show I've seen. Major props my friend! What did this show cost? I recognize you put in a lot of work & prep.
I thought I put on a decent show. My son was pumped and then I watch something like this. I need to really step my game up. Absolute monster of a show you should feel really proud buddy.
Look at it as inspiration and not the fact that your show wasn't good. Most shows do not look like this, and that is totally fine! Everyone is their own neighborhood hero for July 4th!
Thanks, Frank! It was only me for set up on the day of the show for the first six hours. Then my wife and a friend were able to come to help me finish wiring and build the towers in the last few hours.
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics You did great my friend! A dream day actually. I so wish I was in a more friendly state. Would do the same thing, love doing it all myself. This year I trusted several people to do important parts, in the past I had to do it myself - but at 63.5 years old I am slowing down and need the help. I loved the 60/62mm shots, live they look so amazing, hard to film for sure though. My favorite part of your show was the high willows and the screaming comets (sliver dragons I believe no?) reaching up to them.

Incredible do you have videos on your processes? You sir are amazing and artistic thank you for such a great display
Thanks man! Yes actually, I have a full video series on the prep work, including a live stream where we scripted the first song. I'll also be doing a review probably next week livw.
Phenomenal show! Great with the timing. So inspiring
Glad you enjoyed it!
So awesome!!!🎉🎉🎉 wish I was your neighbor!!! But this is very cool to watch. Thank you!
WOW JOEL!!!! Knocked it out of the park. Great show way to go!!!!
I appreciate that! Especially coming from you man!
This was amazing! Soo many amazing beautiful colors throughout. Not gonna lie when those screamers took off around minute 7, that caught me soo of guard 🤣
Haha, I'm glad you liked it! Nothing wrong with a little jump scare eh?
The amount of times I screamed "what the f*ck!!" while watching this. This was the most INSANELY EPIC fireworks show I've ever seen. Like anywhere, ever!!! Holy cow dude.
That is awesome to hear man! I'm glad it had an impact on you. Cheers!
@@jedifam66 my pleasure! Stay strong brother
Great show!
Really nice show! The ending was different than what I see in these shows. 💥🇺🇸💥🇺🇸
Absolutely beautiful!!!
Thank you so much!
Amazing show joel!!! Thank u for sharing
Thank you! My pleasure and thanks for watching
Thank you so much man! I'll take sunshine ass blowing all day... lol
Amazing show! Perfect placement of each piece! Insane!
Thank you!
Joel bro awesome show! I’ve been doing back yard shows for 7 yrs now and hopefully I can get to your lvl, now I’m live in a state that it’s legal I’m looking forward to doing bigger shows soon, would love to pick ur brain and and talk with you
Very nice my man. Glad you were able to get it in with all weather etc probs
Keep up the great content!
Thank you and me too! Barely got this one off the ground haha. Plenty more content on the way!
What were the cakes used @ 1:27 and 1:42 with the go getters?
1:27 used two varieties of quick crackle cakes.
12s Finale Box: Quick Crackle (Simult) - 200g (Spirit of 76)
Fanned Quick Crackle (Dominator)
1:42 Color Fish - 200g (Sky Bacon)
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics thank you!
Wow, better than Disney
That's a big compliment; thank you!
Joel, that was fantastic. Well thought out, power and finesse, great color, those looked like 62mm bowties excellent, the fish, the go getters, oh man that was awesome. I wished I could have saw that in person, as always thank you.
Thank you for the compliments man! I tried to put a variety of effects in there since we actually had options this year!
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics Ok, this is the 7th or 8th time I have watched the show. Excellent man, I like to study, you did some cool stuff in the show. Thanks Joel
@@MichaelWorx That is so awesome! Appreciate it as always
Joel. a little heads up the RIAKEO stuff is really, really nice.
@@MichaelWorx nice! I am likely getting a shipment later this month!
Wow, that is incredible to hear, and I am definitely happy to hear that (expect for the area around you to do big shows lol). Thank you so much!
This is David I'm the one playing the fireworks
Brother you're a beast what a beautiful show ❤️
Ok that’s was bad ass man that was something else good job
Hey thank you!
I have noticed the same exact issue in previous years too, but my camera was not by the sound system, so I could layer the original soundtrack, and you wouldn't detect it.
standing ovation bro amazing show all your hard work well worth it ending with Wolf Howlling was the icing on the cake
It looked a little bit like ghosts and goblins
Thank you! You gotta love when the hard work pays off
Amazing show Joel that’s how you do it brother great show bro can’t wait till next year’s. Glad you had a great 4th 🧨💯
Thank you! I hope you had a great 4th as well!
Ive been to or watched 100+ shows in my life. This is the best backyard show I've seen. Major props my friend!
What did this show cost? I recognize you put in a lot of work & prep.
Well done! Love the different camera angles you shot!
Thanks! I had a drone in the sky too but it didn't look as good as the ground camera unfortunately
Very nice Joel. Any chance of you putting out your product list for this show? Appreciate it.
Thanks! Let me know if you have a question about what fired when. Most of the product is shown in the setup series too.
Amazing show, greetings all the way from germany. Pyros will stand together from all over the world. I will leave an follow
You nailed it! Happy forth.
Thanks! Happy 4th to you as well!
Damn Joel you killed that. Simply amazing.
Thank you very much!
Great job. And I haven’t even hit the finale yet. Amazing
Wow! That’s incredible man! Congratulations!
Thanks a ton!
Amazing job! Well done Joel - how many peeps helped set it up on the day of the show? What is your current camera for recording ? Video looks great.
I’ve been dabbling in class c for years and that his hands down the best one I’ve seen on UA-cam. I’ve seen all the spirit of 76 demos and competitions including big daddy yours rocks 100%.❤👊👊👊
Thanks so much man! I'm glad you enjoyed
