I saved and bought my Kia cash , fast forward after 2years i got retrenched , as sad as it is but i still have the car and only thing i pay for is insurance so definetly buying cash is the best decision
My sester lost her job back in 2018,she bought a Chevrolet cruze on credit, after losing her job she continued paying the car hoping she will get a job soon, after some moths the bank took the car, in 2019 December she got another job saved some money in 2020 she sent me and brother to go buy her a car that will take her from point A to point B...we went to we buy cars with that cash and got her a honda jazz which was still in very good condition..fast forward to this day she is happy she bought a car cash
Listens, it is rainy season in my country right now and i can tell you these walks to catch a ride to and from work whilst it is raining is just a trip. It is wrenching.
Thank you So much really needed this . Been quite indecisive lately on be it I get a second car or property or rent and I honest thing I just got my answer. God bless you Nicolette. You my come to place for financial advise.
if you qualify for the full amount is best you take the full loan rather than putting a deposit because the FNI's at the dealership knows how to play around sometimes you end not even seeing the difference between when there is a deposit or not what can one do is sign the contract take the car after 1 installment pay that lump sum into your account and ask the bank to capitalise the deal 2.IF you took a balloon you can even ask them to put that money on the baloon ammount 3 With regards to the residual there are companies that can assist with refinancing you just need to have a clean record some banks also do it 4.if you decide to trade in the car for a new car at the end of the term, the settlement letter includes the residual ammount Remeber that the 1st 2 and half year of your debt you are paying towards your interest ,you will start paying the capital after that PS : I am not financial adviser MY 2 CENTS KNOWLEDGE
Wow thank you so much for this... I work from home and I don't need a car but I feel the pressure to buy it on credit even😂 I'll keep saving and buy it cash

Thank you for sharing these very important tips. What if you urgently need a car but don't have a deposit but instead you are in a position to pay a little bit extra (maybe R500) every month for financing. Does that help in any way? Is that buying well? 🤔
Hy Nico...does the balloon payment amount that the bank freezes have interest..like when you done financing the car, can you just pay the exact amount that was frozen or it would've accumulated interest

You walked 800km sis? I really think you made a mistake right there
Yeah...she probably did because 800km is too much.
@@LadyT06 lol haiii
I did, 800 m
@@FinancialBunny 800m sounds more like it
Yeah 800km is from Johannesburg to Pietermaritzburg. It's a mistake indeed 😂

Yes it does help. You have to call the bank each time you pay extra that you want to redirect the money to the ballon payment
Yes it helps - please watch my video about paying extra into my car loan
Thank you so much for this.
Thanks very informative
800KM......you walked Love you Nico
😂😂😂😂 I know she meant meters but Have to say No wonder she's a millionaire, sis walked hard to be successful.
😂😂Exactly what I was thinking about
The real long walk to freedom
so well spoken

Hi Bunnies
Hello! Bunny
Please tell me you walked 800 meters, not kms 😲😳
hahaha yeh i think she meant meters or 8km.
I hope so because God could never do that to anyone.
Hi Nicolette, I can do subtitles for you.
this is good.
I guess you meant 800 m and not 800 km right ??

You need to study balloon payment or residual value thoroughly. Your interpretation is slightly deceiving
I needed this 🤍
