You can't get more authentic and environment friendly than that ! Their architecture is traditional, yet very innovative and smart. It's perfectly suited to the hot climate of the Sahara desert !
Have you noticed how calm reigns over this Algerian city, the great respect for its inhabitants, its environment, the peaceful quality of life, its unique architecture, its ancestral traditions. And its majestic valley. Nothing to do with Morocco, where the foreign tourist is ripped off by local traders or the environment is not conducive to savor your stay in peace and serenity.

Wow, what a an authentic presentation, made by a real gentleman, definitely not your average Western tourist at random. thanks a lot for this faithful depiction of what Algeria really is. By the way Christianity goes back to Roman times and spread to the entire North Africa by the 5th century coinciding with the fall of the Roman Empire. Saint Augustin and his Mother Santa Monica were originally from Thaghast, today's Souk-Ahras Eastern Algeria 100km South of Hippo (Bonna, Annaba). St Augustin was a theologian and philosopher which made him one of the most prominent figures in Christianity, he was the Bishop of Hippo, Bonna, today's Annaba, I'not sure if you've been to Annaba and visited Siant Augustin's Basilica, which was rebuilt by the French in the 19th Century next to the ruines of the original edifice, maybe the next trip... Take care and God bless.

USA welcome in Algeria, welcome to the world.
