when bailey was trying to open her advent door and said “i’m horrible at opening these” and parker said “no you’re not!” is the sweetest thing ever. they are all so sweet to each other and speak such positivity into each other, it’s so amazing and honorable. this family is so awesome!

And Bailey just eating and handful of jellybeans and taking out all the good flavors and only eating the bad I'm with Christopher saying why would you do that? Bailey's answer had me rolling saying why not? But the look of regret on her face was priceless. I love this family. I only look forward to this family's vlogs along with colleen vlogs morgan adams vlogs and a few others they make my days/nights so much better💜😀
Jessica, I remember you asking for recipes to make with plantains and I have a couple. I'm from the Caribbean and my mom would always get plantains and slice them about half an inch thick diagonally then roll it in cinnamon and sugar and bake for 10-15 minutes or if we had green/unripe plantains we would cut it in diagonally about 1-inch thick and fry for about 2 minutes then smush it a bit till about 1/2 an inch and fry until golden brown and season with salt. These are things I always make for my kids and they love it.

I love how Jessica always stops and acknowledges Luke when he's talking even if it's just sounds because he *is* communicating and that just gives him even more confidence knowing he's being listened to. Since I've started as a kindergarten aide I've realized how rare that is with parents. We have a handful of students majorly struggling to even form sentences, and instead of being encouraging their parents are their worst enemy and are making the problem even worse. It's just so nice to see parents taking the time to let their ones with speech issues be heard. This channel honestly keeps me going on my worst days because it gives me some hope for the world. 💜

I just wanna say the kids all do the smallest acts of kindness that are so noticeably cute. You guys did a wonderful job and I mean INCREDIBLE job. Well that worked well, it is 11PM in the UK, I have been sat wrapping Christmas Presents for Dementia Care Home Residents for much of the evening. I started by watching 'And Just Like That' whilst wrapping (BIG mistake- don't watch whilst wrapping, definitely not), finished to realise that I hadn't watched your last vlog, so (much) more suited to Christmas Present wrapping, still no where near finished in what I need to wrap up, so debating what to watch and wrap next and you notify that you have uploaded today's vlog. Perfect timing, thanks
As someone who had a Nan with vascular dementia, and I also currently have an Aunt with Alzheimer’s I would like to thank you for the job that you are doing with these presents you are wrapping and giving. On behalf of the families with dementia care family members, I thank you.

I’m glad Jessica loved Jade Mountain! It’s my go to, I have a packet at home and a packet on my desk at work. I think I got into it after my tea advent last year, but I don’t believe it’s in my loose-leaf tea advent this year.
