I remember you alluding to the the apocalyptic mess of your Ashk campaign in your worldbuilding videos and livestreams but I think this is the first time hearing the actual full story of what exactly the players have unleashed and how... It somehow ended up even more crazy than how I imagined it!
Some cool ideas. I am ending a 2 year camapign and started peppering in one shots towards the end, that dealt with other groups, or behind the scenes stuff, and I wished I did that from the beginning. It was cool that have the one shots be cannon story arcs where the players got to be somone else for a day.
Great video! The original infinite staircase was written by Monte Cook and published in 1998 btw.

Not that it matters in the least but "War pigs" was a 1970's song I believe not an 80's song but that sounds like a really cool way to set up an adventure! Sounds really creepy and fun!

I actually used music all the time when I played White wolfs Vampire the Masquerade. "Lucrecia my reflection" by sisters of Mercy was always a favorite plus there was the album "songs from the succubus club" as well though that came out in 1999 and I was playing before that. but Music is always a great tool for Role playing background. war Pigs would be an amazing song for fighting a coven of hags!
Great video! Just ran across your channel and will have to check out your other vids. I love a lot of the ideas you present here; very fun. The Armor of Ezanos is really cool, and I can totally see using that as the launchpad encounter for a campaign. Good stuff!
Oh Im totally building an adventure around the Eldritch Janitor who is just there to clean up the mess and can't believe how messy, and disrespectful the PC party is.
Thanks for the ideas, my players will probably run into a place with a cursed artifact soon. Thinking about messages that contain the whole 'this place is not a place of honor bit' in different languages, maybe psychic damage mixed in. Looking forward to see where this will take me!
Dam, That's Nasty is available in Issue 34 of SIDEQUEST: www.patreon.com/posts/sidequest-issue-105325856 The Armor of Ezanos can be found in A Night of Adventure Volume 1: bit.ly/3DzRyla The other 3 one shots mentioned in this video have no written version right now and are just ones I've run for my home games.
Uh, War Pigs is on Sabbath's first album which was released in 1970. It's not from the 80s. Whatever, that's not important. Hey, lots of cool adventure ideas, especially the one about songs of power. That's a guaranteed crowd pleaser

It was a bonkers series of events 🤣 They somehow always manage to just utterly decimate the regions they are trying to save.

Great video! I'll definitely try to add more popular songs into my game, it's an awesome idea
The music part is cool. Gonna give my Bard some Songs for his Courageous Anthem 😄

Welcome 😊
Armor of Ezanos was a blast. He ended up becoming the BBEG for my last campaign and the whole thing just went in such unexpected directions.
Deep Carbon Observatory has an adventure built around a failed dam that's pretty dark.
Eldritch Janitor?! 3:36

I love these kinds of videos!
Read Spellsinger by Alan Dean Foster. 😊

@@IcarusGames Thank you for this really fast answer.
You invented the Infinite Staircase before 1998's Tales from the Infinite Staircase by Monte Cook?
I was obviously joking. But I had never heard of an infinite staircase in relation to D&D before the new book was announced.
