As a Minnesotan, I approve of the grade we received.
Yeah I live in Minnesota too and I'm happy with our grade
Moi aussi.
Wisconsin is beautiful! Our only downside is very cold Winters.
The cold is my favorite part!
Portland was bad in 2020 with riots, etc. It doesn't rain "all the time". Beautiful here.
I think he was just trying to be a comedian and failed
Yea when Americans try soo hard to say US sucks it’s just corny atp😂
@@bigbk3278 yeah it's a lot easier when the country you live in really does suck
@@roadwary56 what country are you in?
Every state has pros and cons. I live in Louisiana and we have a lot of poverty and it's so hot. We have a lot of pros too though. We have a lot of culture, the BEST food and a lot of wonderful people. We also have cheap land and affordable housing. This guy is wrong about the diversity thing btw. Idk where he did his research but 33% of our population is African American.
Meh, that video is straight trolling. I bet he has never been out of his state
The dilemma is, if you live in an awesome state, which I do, your tendency is to NOT share that because we don't want everyone moving here.
West Virginia is an absolutely beautiful state; however, it is economically stagnant. There are few jobs with the exception of remote workers. There is a crisis of opioids. The schools are poor due to inadequate funding. I love the state; however, I left there right after high school because it had nothing to offer me. It's sad.
I drove through the entire state from late morning through the evening from south to north. The absolute foggiest place I've ever been to. And the densest fog I've been in. It was literally the whole length of the state that day
He didn't even show the right state for Kansas wtf!!! We don't deserve all of the hate honestly, I love living here!!! Wichita and Kansas City are amazing!
Tornadoes can happen in hilly areas and tornadoes are happening outside tornado alley more and more frequently now
Don’t believe any of this shit 😂. He’s more just clowning every state. Im from Missouri and we always make the “misery joke”…. Plus im only an hours drive to Memphis TN…….no good music has come from Memphis since Elvis? What about Three 6 Mafia 🤷🏻♂️
The whole video is a troll bet duded has never left his out state or home city.
I currently live in Maine and there's TONS of places to go for great food. ... That's the problem. 😅Decisions, decisions! And it's the local-owned and regional-owned places that are the best.
I love West Virginia, Tennessee, Ohio, Colorado, California and Pennsylvania. I used to love Florida, but the water is terrible and there is a ton of crime there.
We didn't steal Alaska we bought it from Russia
That's true, we paid 7,000
I think the Inuit people might disagree with you.
@@tinagarcia3571nobody cares it was bought nonetheless
The official name of Rhode Island was "Rhode Island and Providence Plantations" from 1636 to 2020, when voters approved the name change in a referendum. When the royal charter was granted, there were two groups of European settlements: One on Aquidneck (Rhode) Island surrounding Newport, and the other on the mainland around the now-largest city Providence.
In the 1600s, a "plantation" was any large farm, but we now associate the word with slavery. There was another referendum for changing the name about 10-15 years previously, which was defeated. The significance of the year 2020 was that was the summer of the George Floyd protests. Another reason for the name change was that much of the early wealth of the colony/state was generated by the slave trade. The world-renown Brown University is named for John Brown, a slave trader.
People who say Iowa is flat has never actually been to Iowa. There are some flat areas but that’s not representative of most of the state - especially in Eastern Iowa.
This guy doesn't travel much.
He's WRONG !! Rhode Island IS an island. It is the largest of nearly thirty islands in Narragansett Bay. The whole problem with the confusing name is the fault of King Charles. NO, not HIM ! The previous one, Charles II. In 1663, four English settlements around Narragansett Bay decided to unite and to petition the King for a Royal Charter. Two of the settlements, Newport and Portsmouth, were on Rhode Island [native name : Aquidneck.] While the other two settlements, Providence and Warwick, were on the mainland. In his infinite Royal wisdom, Charles II granted a Royal Charter to "Our Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations in New England in America". And thus began the problem. So for any Brits who want to complain about the name : IT"S YOUR FAULT !!
There are deep problems in every state. In some states the problems are more advanced. But all states are in decline.
Keep in mind he's not doing a documentary. He's just roasting states. Portland Oregon is fine, from what I hear. San Francisco but a lot less expensive, though still pretty freaking expensive. Same for Seattle. IOW, the Pacific Northwest (at least west of the Cascade Mountains) is essentially California North. Conservatives will disagree here, though.
Seems like this guy was attempting to troll and be comedic. Completely wrong. We didn’t steal Alaska, we bought it from Russia a long time ago. Rhode Island is not an island, just the name.
The guy literally hated each state even the ones he rated high.
GUN. It's okay, I'm a Florida Man ...
West Virginia had coal, then we needed coal less, and now everyones just broke and addicted to drugs. Since it's labor day though I will mention that back in 1921, like 10,000 coal miners and 3,000 police, agents, scabs, and the business owners leading them went to war for a couple days. Basically imagine a mini world war 1 over the course of like a week in the woods in West Virginia.
FYI: The person who did this was obviously a Democrat. So in answer to your question, no it was not in the least bit objective. The states that got the highest grades were blue states and the states that generally got the F rating were always the solid red. And there were two giant giveaways as to the reviewer's bias.
1) He praised Illinois governor Jamie Pritzker whereas most Republicans living in Illinois and elsewhere would certainly not agree.
And 2) He ridiculed Senator Ted Cruz for leaving Texas during a winter power outage. But this is a Democrat talking point and a poor one. His children wanted to go to Cancun and wanted him to go with them, so he obliged. But Cruz would not have been without power in Texas had he not gone so it was not as though he was escaping the emergency. And he was also in constant contact with his staff on trying to get the power back on. The optics were bad which made him vulnerable to Dem criticism. And he acknowledged the mistake. But that is all it amounted to. When dems don't have anything real to criticize their opposition over they just make things up. And that was a prime example.
So you were right in your recognition of Oregon being not so nice a place due to the hell hole that is Portland. And Chicago has a similar problem which should have reducewd its ranking considerably Had a Republican created the list the grades would have been reversed.
Hi Kabir, I live in Texas, and what he said about the power shortage is true. We, unlike any of the other contiguous states, aren't connected to a regional power grid, so when there's a greater demand for power, we are shit out of luck. This happened a few years ago, and much of the state was blacked out. And yes, Ted Cruz, one of our two US Senators and some others flew down to Cancun for a couple of weeks.
West Virginia is a beautiful state, but it's rife with poverty, has a serious opiate crisis, and since the coal mining industry practically stopped due to a switch to greener energy,
which was the state's largest source of income, is practically broke. There are not a whole lot of jobs available.
You owe it to yourself to visit New Orleans, Louisiana. It's the foodie's paradise, and the party never stops in the French Quarter and other entertainment areas, such as nearby Fat City in Metairie.
I'm from Louisiana, but have lived in Texas for a number of years. Texas doesn't really deserve an F, except for it's high ranking politicians, like the governor, attorney general, lieutenant governor and US Senators.
9:26 Ohio is my mother's home state and because her side of the family lives there I can say I've visited every tourist attraction there and... it's pretty boring. But Ohio's numbers are still fine in terms of education, employment, and crime.
Being in Tennessee, I agree with our score
I 100% agree with Texas being F I hate living here.
4:40 There are wealth and normal parts of Maryland but there are also some of the biggest crime cities on the East Coast there which brings down the numbers for the state over all. There are just some areas of Maryland you should never even drive past.
Washington isn't Seattle... yes it is C territory but the rest of the state I'd A! I guess if you like the outdoors and nature or city life. Same with Oregon... I've only lived in these 2 states but love them immensely! But I'm an outdoor girl... ocean, lakes, rivers, Hood Canal and Straight of Juan de Fuca. Mountain ranges including a volcano. Deserts and arain Forests... we have it all! I wish Seattle had Portland's public transit, I might want to go more. I can't deal with Seattle traffic but I love the Ferry system. Come enjoy the Northwest!
Thanks for all your content. I enjoy your channel.
I'm sure Delaware is at the bottom, but he's wrong!!
I wouldn’t take anything this guy said about any state seriously. Except for what he said about Washington and Oregon. It does rain a hell of a lot there. 😉. I’m from New York, Bronx born and raised. I still live here. Upstate New York is boring as hell. To me. But as large as the state is, the MAJORITY of the population reside in the 5 boroughs that make up NYC!
I'm from NJ. He not wrong,
Empty field in Indiana? I have never been to Indiana. But I do know it is the ninth largest farm state in the nation.
This guy has no clue what he is talking about so his rankings can't be trusted
He forgot all about the Green Bay Packers!
As someone from Massachusetts(no, not Boston) idk weather to feel good about him just giving us an A, or to be offended he said nothing about it 😂
Way to insult those of us from Kansas! Believe it or not we know how to spell. Yes, Iowa is a part of tornado alley along with Kansas. Yes, Nebraska is mostly a farm state but not completely.
Hi fellow Kansan!❤💙
@@TwiggyKeely I haven't lived there in about 30 years but I did live there from about the age of 4 when my family moved from Missouri where I was born until the age of about 23 when my husband and I moved to Arizona where we currently live.
He seems to be biased against Southern states
Well, at least my state came in as a B
Remember, everyone....South Carolina was given an F. Please stay away! We don't have nice people, the weather sucks (who wants to have all 4 seasons??), the government doesn't take enough taxes from us, and we are too close to the mountains and the ocean. Thanks!
Nope, sorry Iowa isn't flat. It's got pretty good sized hills on the east and west side. It's a bit like a roller coaster for quite a ways. This guy is literally just babbling on and having the time of his little life. Funny
Born in Alabama, raised in Texas
This video was obviously done for comedic effect and honestly, just to piss people off. But I must say that he did hit the mark on Texas and Florida.
100%. Had me chuckling throughout. Also, as a former resident of Maryland, that bit gave me a good laugh. Old bay and sweat…I mean, especially with climate change making summers there as gross as they are these days (big reason I left), he isn’t entirely wrong.
Oh and I still always keep Old Bay in my pantry. Delicious on so many things! Tuna salad and deviled eggs are two of my faves.
@@nattyboh2944. What is Indiana known for? Isn’t where Prince Charles spent his first honeymoon? 😊
Kentucky isn't too bad i think its more of a C
The maker of the video was trying too hard at being funny -- and often failing.
Often he was picking out the worst thing about a state (valid), but then that was it.
All BS.
I’ve drove through Iowa the long way 12 fucking hours of corn fields 😢
Also drove through IOWA & the "Blackest" thing you will see there is the pavement!
Taxpayers and businesses are Litterally fleeing Blue States because of Failed Democratic policies. New , Pennsylvania, Illinois, Michigan and California ALL LOST Congressional seats because of negative population growth despite taking in Millions of illegal aliens.
New York has been ranked LEAST FREE state in America 6 years in a row, California is 48th out of 50.
Washington State and Oregon have recently joined the list of State losing Taxpayers and businesses.
13 Counties in Oregon have Voted to LEAVE Oregon and JOIN Idaho.
Where are Taxpayers and businesses fleeing Blue States moving to?
1. Florida
2. Texas
3. South Carolina
4 North Carolina
5. Nevada

I agree with the majority except Utah and sections of Florida need to be in F tier. Utah for the vile Mormon culture (cult) and Florida for Desantis and his crew of Old white Republicunts

If you think Florida is awesome, you’ve obviously never been to the panhandle (lower Alabama). Lived there for 20 years. Crazy people there! I’m from Colorado and it’s amazing. Pikes peak is breathtaking and the view from the summit is incredible!
I had to go to Destin for work a few months ago. The Redneck Riviera!
Florida has 23 Million people and about 3-4 Million live in the Panhandle. Most of the State's population is in the southern 2/3rds. of the Peninsula.

Yeah, this narrator is voting for Harris.
Besides the filthy language, this guy just knows nothing. I have lived in Arizona for over 50 years and if he really had been here, he would know a huge portion of northern arizona is not desert but pine trees and very green. And New Mexico being the same? Please.....
West Virginia is like 98% mountains and sh**ty roads lol
