This "lego aspect" with the heads pooping off is really only for the skeletons, not for anyone else. Generally the only things that look like lego are the characters.
Wu and garamadom are 1000 years old They're both the sons of the most powerful character in the series I don't want to say anymore because you'll learn the lore as you continue to watch this series

Garmadon in the pilots gave off Ansem SoD vibes. It would have been awesome if Ansem followed Sora and Riku in KH1 as a shadowy figure with red eyes like Garmadon.
I personally think I'd have the Scythe Of Quakes, my favorite character is Jay. And based on what I've seen from you, your favorite could either be Jay, Cole, or Zane
