Agree -looked like flutter, I always put a strip of covering between stab and elevator
    Gap seal- over speed also

I've been looking at that same plane and have it on my build list. What do you think caused the break? It didn't look like you pulled excessively to stress it. Was it a matter of not enough glue? The area needs reenforcing? I watch as many videos as I can of this plane and haven't heard/seen this before. Be interested is seeing pictures after you take the covering off as well as your thoughts. Also, have you reached out to BalsaUSA for what they think? Excellent piloting to land it in one piece!

@@Noncenx it definitely was pushing the airframe to hard. It wasn’t really meant for full throttle loops. It’s not the kit it’s the pilot. Thanks for watching

@@mountainr.c. Thanks for the update - It didn't seem like the loop was that small and the pull out put a lot of stress on the tail. But I trust your judgement, you were there flying it. It's a good looking plane, you did an excellent job.

@@Noncenx I believe it was a combination of needing more glue and reinforcement on the tail and pushing the airframe. It’s a WWI bird not meant for pushing aerobatics. It should be flying scale. should have known better

@@mountainr.c. Would a carbon spar have been simple to incorporate when you built the tail? Something like that should have probably been designed into the kit.

That looked like flutter, if so you have some serious issues there that need to be addressed.

@@johnmajane3731 the balsa broke under pressure doing the loop. Def a serious issue that needs to be addressed Lol! Thanks for watching

Way over powered, and no throttle control, full power all the time, nice plane, bad flying.

@@mountainr.c. I called it like I saw it, but I was out of line on commenting on your flying abilities, we have all done stuff that we shouldnt have, and I am the last person who should be saying anything negative haha. Its a beautiful plane, really like the WW1 biplanes. Ill sub up for future vids

Not designed to pull off maneuvers like that

It's dragging it's ass. It's tail heavy!! And if you're going to build scale models don't fly them like a pylon racer. Otherwise ... nice plane.
