Um. He IS a deliriously twisted psychopath. Read the manga, the stuff in his past, his way of viewing things... He's my favorite character BECAUSE of how twisted he is while remaining a good guy.
Also, you ever notice just how epic soul eater nutso smiles are? I always loved those.

Wonderful amv. Very unique in that it actually tells a story through manipulated images instead of just the usual 'collage' of images or video clips and having the song tell the story instead.

you mean like a separate spin off of Soul Eater? Because this is all stuff from Soul Eater, it was a main thing, Stein going insane, the majority of many episodes were dedicated to it.
No, not a spin off. I mean a anime about a man who is blamed for several murders, everyone thinking that he is insane, but thinks that something is taking his shape and killing them.

I have not watched soul eater in so long but this amv made me feel really bad for stein those memories and medusa making him go all insane.

They were all there, considering it was a 4 season long anime, and most of the clips were very short parts, it would be easy to miss alot of it. But he also miss matched alot of the scenes to give them to impression that Stein was just bizarre which he did wonderfully.
I like the way this one makes me feel, kinda sad though.
I honestly don't care if there are scenes from other animes edited in here of if it's using Death Note music. The whole theme of madness and a serial killer/Kishin Stein is just genius and it all fits together beautifully. Wonderful job. Awesome AMV. -applauds-

A "Doppelgänger" is indeed a mythological creature, in german there's a similar term for a "look-alike", but generally when mentioned outside of Germany the mythical creature is ment.
The creature "doppelgänger" has no translation, just like kindergarden, schadenfreude, zeitgeist... etc.
does anyone else think its funny that light yagami who bassically went insane with power has a song that sounds like an ost from silent hill a game that is more or less based on insanity

Yeah it is, a double or look-alike...same concept in Kurokami and loads of other animes. But the word comes from folklore so there is more to it then that, those animes just don't cover that side of it

F***g lightbulb that does not give light and only shimmers and dies when you try to switch the light on... it has always been part of my worst nightmares, exactly the ones where I can't separate dream of reality and feel like I am going insane.
