I love plants and I want to get a job at a garden centre so I’ve been watching videos on plant care and this was really helpful very concise and informative.
Thank you. I'm currently living in Medellin Colombia and the foliage is amazing but I have a brown thumb and all the plants you have discussed are right outside my window, so I am going to double down my efforts to make them take root and be happy in my flat.
Hi, I find Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma to be the most successful plant I tried at home. On the other hand I've killed 2 African Violets already. I'm sure I did something wrong but there is plants that take more abuse. I also find Tradescantia to be very rewarding plant that can take more abuse.
This may sound weird, but my peace lily has leaves that are not opening up. So, I tried to manually unravel it, but I almost ripped the leaves. Then I changed the soil, placed a few Miracle-Gro fertilizer sticks in the pot and used the humidifier several times a week. The leaves are green, there are no flowers and I only water once a week. Do you have any other suggestions?
Send us a photo of the plant, and where it is in context of your home to gardening@greenlandgarden.com It could be a few things, like light or temperature if the leaves are curling. We'd have to hear more to be sure. -TS
To add to what you have already tried, we would also suggest making sure this plant receives good light. Although peace lilies don't require full sun try placing it near a window.
I’m confused the plant you called monstera. I have the same it’s 15 years old so much larger but it was labeled philodendron when I got it! Can anyone clarify for me? 🙏🏻
Basically what he's saying is, "plants that only a dummy could kill." Well crap, I've killed snake plant and zz plant! But in my defense, snake plant really does do better in brighter light, at least in my experience. Love the monstera! Thanks for the video.

Thank you ❤
You are the best! Thanks for taking the time for explaining
Clear, concise and informative. Although it made me think of dried oats every time Joe says "dried out". :)
I enjoyed watching this video, thank you for explaining how to take care of these plants ❤️
Nice video. Short and concise. Just a little query here, that plant you refer to as pothos, isn’t a scindapsus?
That one in the video is a satin pothos, yes, so we're moreso talking about pothos generally. Good eye!,
