Hey man, love the Contant as always, but what I would love for you is to do a detailed video of all the modifications for your AQ 177 with the links and parts of where you bought them from also I would love to have a link from where you got your custom battery made because I’m on East Coast and I can’t find anyone out here that’s willing to make one
I have a dual motor Freego and I don't think I could go back to a 1 motor 48v. Addicted to that pick up it has, but it does make handling more squirrelly
Now that I finally got my A8 DM up and running, over the last few days I've been getting some mileage around the area (between Long Beach and Norwalk), and a run to Disneyland. I've gotten comfy going between the different drive modes. Having a single motor was a no-brainer. As for dual motor, the book is still out for me. BTW, great video as always.
I have the dual motor version. Went to a 3,000 watt rear w fardriver 72450 and won't go back. The stock controller is garbage and over heats. The 52 volt battery is 60 ah and gives me about 70 miles of range going 30-35 mph. Top speed 57 mph.
Def an upgrade for sure! I have an A8 single motor and it rips... has taken it on multiple long rides without having to worry about running out of juice.
i love this bike plus i also get the half throttle to have less chance of being thrown, also get an spare left right lever kit, when they eventually break for zero down time. so this is what i did while going green color. the only con the front blinkers only works for the A9 version so if you want extra blinker safety, id go that route since it came out a week after i got my a8 i sadly was not able to one up the safety their is no kit for you to mount to the a8 for front bar blinkers. lastly the mafia breaks use royal blood mineral oil for those whom have bleed kits it was in small fine print. i also got the pro 39 buck amazon bleeding mineral oil super kit which had the cork in it that worked btw.
Good Lort wtf was that lol The fact that you were not at all surprised or phased by that dude in the Speedos says a lot about what you see in public... people are wild.
Great Video Andy! What motor kit do you have? I want to convert my AQ177 (DM) to a fast single motor and still be using my 52v, 60ah stock battery. Thanks Pare!!

Andy I still can't believe you're not Mexican. Everytime I hear you go CHOWOWOW!! I'm like if this dude isn't technically Mexican he still a homie. As far as single vs dual motor I've been having this debate in my head for awhile. Single motor is more nimble but when it comes to tackling steep hills like where I live it probably make more sense for a dual. Alternatively (and I'm very curious of your thoughts) as to a hybrid drive chain. Combining both a rear hub motor with a mid drive for extreme torque. Though I wonder if the difference could be offset by just adding a more powerful hub motor. OR.. doing both mid drive and rear hub WITH a front hub as I saw some commenter on a different e-bike video said he would do on his custom setup. I'm sure the calibration would be tedious to say the least.
@@princeroyal195 my preference is to always go with a very powerful rear motor. It makes the build simple and less complex. I can climb steep hills at over 50mph where the a8 dual motor might be able to climb it at 30mph. In my opinion, the only reason to ever go with a mid drive is for off road purposes.
That makes sense. Having a mid drive for off road keeps the wheel size thinner and overall slimmer frame and therefore more lightweight. Apologies for not remembering your AQ177 setup but what is the wattage of your custom rear hub motor? And lastly for someone who's still very green to the e-bike scene and isn't very knowledgeable at modding an e-bike at this time, what's the best e-bike to get in your opinion for tackling steep hills?
@@princeroyal195 my hub motor is technically a 3,000 watt qs205 motor but QS makes such efficient and amazing motors that I peak it at over 20,000 watts. I would recommend aniioki dual motor bikes, e-cells, wired freedom, and Goat bikes.
Over 20KW peak, dang bro at that point the wires might just melt or something might happen with the battery chemistry. The rear view camera on your buddy's bike is a cool idea for sure. Thanks for your input Andy! it's greatly appreciated 👍
Hi, I'm a big admirer and lover of Aniioki, but since I couldn't afford it I ordered a Fiido Titan bike that I'm waiting to reach its destination, what do you think Deserves? I'm a courier and I needed something better for this job.
Hi, raspy I know you probably won’t respond but your honesty would be appreciated do recommend aniioki as a brand I wanted to buy the a9 pro max dual motor but I’ve seen so many people on other videos comment that it’s not quality it’s trash and it has a host of parts failing, customers saying aniioki does not respond to you contacting them I just don’t wanna spend 2-3k on a bike knowing it will not last me a good amount of years
Would you rather have dual motors or ONE powerful rear motor?

In my opinion, I would go for one powerful rear motor for going uphills. Unless if you want to go way faster would be the dual motor.
