- This is the no intros version of my beginner/intermediate level barre inspired by the Ballet Swan Lake. We do lots of swan arms while keeping the exercises basic for building technique, stamina, and strength. The most important thing with this barre is to have fun with it! Hi I'm Kathryn!
I am a former soloist with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.
On my channel I make ballet, beauty, and lifestyle videos for everyone of all ages. My goal is help dancers improve and achieve their dreams as well as open up the ballet world to non dancers. Let's bring the joy back to ballet! I have to admit I was really sad when I realized the barre was ending. Great training! I definitely feel like my balance has improved with the variations you do off the barre!

absolute wonderful barre class, love the theme arms, please more of this - and it is just such a brilliant method / technique you have created of taking the exercises away from the barre also, makes you feel you are dancing and building your coordination and strength so much faster! thank you for these classes!

Themed center ballet classes, please.
I think something might be up with your camera - the last couple videos have a long time between frames, making the movements choppy. I thought it was my computer but I tried it on a few others and it looks the same. Thank you for these lovely versions without the talkovers, they are awesome.

Lovely class thank you Loved the music! Just one question though...Maybe it is the camera angle but your heels do not always seem to meet in first position which puzzled me.. Is there a reason?
Guessing it's due to hyperextension - pretty common for ballerinas that have been training for years
