So sad Mr. Williams is now gone, he made us feel as family members, not only in Everwood. I was a kid when he starred opposed Michael Caine, and was very believable as a ranger's Captain. Then on "1941" he played a good crazy role too, and Hair, Phantom... He was there as a distant friend. May he Rest in Peace and thank you for your work and kindness which was perceivable through the screen all the times.
Perfect way to wrap up Ephram and Andy's storyline. Their father/son dynamic was always the driving force of the show, in my opinion, and their relationship wasn't always pretty, but it was definitely portrayed honestly. As a side note...I wonder why Nonny and Grandpa weren't on the show more. As I recall, we only saw them in 2 episodes during Season 1. You'd think they would want to maintain a relationship with their late daughter's children.
oh the good ole days when they actually WRITE endings for shows and leave their fans satisfied....doesn't happen anymore - they carry to a cliff and shove you off these days
They carry it off a cliff because both the producers and network are always expecting to drag it out well past 4 seasons or more for more $$$$ and then BAM before the writer's have time to write a conclusion for the next season opener their cancelled cus their rating dipped a little too low or "became too expensive". Meanwhile their's other scifi Drama's today like The Walking Dead that ssomehow manage to be dragged on even without the lead actor that they started with! Guess it all depends on who's watching. Hopefully now everything being "streamed" more shows will get fair chance at always having a satifying ending. lol
To me, Treat Williams will always be the ultimate TV dad 😢🥹 RIP

I waited four years for that moment. They finally got it together! So Proud!
This scene is still why I love this show. Treat Williams was really one of the best.
And thus the "picture" of the entire series... Such beautiful dialog that summarizes the show as a whole :) Thanks for posting this!!
What a way to put it! Thank you :)

Remmy Duchene Agreed. There's hardly a good ending these days to many of the "good shows" people often talk about.
