  • George David’s 88-foot powerful canting keel maxi, Rambler 88, was built to burn through open ocean miles in strong winds, but on the final day final day of Les Voiles De St. Barth Richard Mille, lighter breezes meant the 25-strong crew had its work cut out against the newer Botin 80-footer Deep Blue and the Maxi72s Vesper and Bella Mente. With David remaining onshore for the race, helmsman Joca Signorini takes the wheel for the daylong race weaving through St. Barth’s surrounding islets and we go along for the ride.

Great job at making us part of the experience. We are in SBH every April for holiday, and the boats run right out in front of our villa. We can hear the boat noises from afar, but this video is a great immersion in the action. Thanks!
