I don't agree with Hammon's statement: "you're either born with it or not [to be a coach/leader]" (not an exact quote) One can be conditioned and trained, especially during upbringing to be a certain person.
I think she means just natural instinct. I get what you are trying to say, as i myself am currently doing my coaching qualification, but i think there are some people who are just naturally better at a job than others.

Conditioning since birth is most effective if you want to have complete control over your child's personality... psychological side effects aside, that is. And yes, different leadership styles suit difference companies. However, note the difference between a leader and a manager.

I think u can learn to a certain extant but some of the character traits can't be taught. That said, some leaders fit some organisations better.
