Improvising Music To Improvised Drums

This is the process of improvising drums, first to a click, and then overdubbing the music. I don't recall what I was playing along to in my head at the time... It's a bit loose as the drums are fairly free form. Nothing is edited. I play the music in with the plastic midi keyboard using the free preset virtual instruments in Garage Band. It's improvisation. I don't make loops, I just play the same part for 10 or 15 min. Like a performance. For the audiophiles, the drums have a tiny bit of reverb on one microphone. Other than that they're completely dry, no EQ no nothing. Three microphones. I like what's come out of this one. It's got a very "Thank you very much, we love you, good night!" kind of vibe. Fast forward to 01:37 to hear the more "complete" idea, with a few melody lines and such.. Or at least an impression of an idea. The percussion is also impressionistic.
