He’s seeing the Nigeria of his dream for sure. Things aren’t working in the country because the foundation was faulty.

Slovakia is a small country of 6 million that separated from Czechoslovakia and both Czechs & Slovaks are performing excellently. Hungary is a small country that currently holds the Presidency of the entire European Union. Qatar is a very small country but it has tremendous significance far more than Nigeria in global affairs. We will never make any progress until we accept the reality.

General Abdulsalam Abubakar has always been a diplomatic man. Whatever you want to hear that’s wrong won’t come from his mouth 😂.

There are several examples of Nigerian leaders who were reluctant to relinquish sweet power!
The list starts right from Gowon, and of course, IBB plus his infamous protégé, Abacha!
If we go by Atiku's claims, OBJ may also be included.
Some may even throw Shagari unto the list because the military may not have had much justification for seizing power in '83 if the election results were not massively rigged by his party to usurp another term!
And let's not even talk about Governors and Assemblymen!
We must have strong guardrails in place to checkmate "sit-tight" mentality in public office!
The hired self-serving, praise-singers who aid and abet this mentality must also be held accountable to deter such behaviour!
According to Lord Acton, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely!"

28:00 I will disagree with the claim from Gen Abdusalam Abubakar that there is no government that doesn't think of his people, Bola Ahmed Tinubu definitely doesn't think of Nigeria and Nigerians.

      Then you are short sighted!
The people of Lagos state says worst than this During President Bola Tinubu's time as Governor! Now see where Lagos is today! It's about Vision and having the political will to do the right thing! This hard times would pass and Nigeria would achieve greatness to the benefit of her citizens 🙏🏾🙏🏾

@@DaboyRevgee: Keep on deceiving yourself Mr long sighted, we heard of such nonsense claims and promises during Muhammadu Buhari.

It's telling that, even though you opened the conversation by reading his wife's most impressive accolades, the only emcomiums the man could speak about his wife, was just her position as his wife. He didn't even acknowledge her sterling career. She's just A wife, mother and grandmother to him.
    How very sad and disappointing.

Thats whats most important to him, just as his grandchildren will remember him for being a grand dad vs a military leader! What men value in women, is different from what women value in men. You look for rich/achieved men, we look for humble/loyalty/innocence in women
      learn well

Him speaking about his being a good wife and mother is more important than speaking about her profession.
I would personally prefer for my wife to speak about me as being a good husband and father to speaking about my profession.
