I’’m not asking for the file to 3D print my own case but to have a ready for market product that can slide on my phone so that I don’t have to keep a case on my phone. I didn’t pay $1000+ to keep a twenty dollar case on it. I (and I’m sure other customers) would like a product where I could use there lenses without having to have a case. Simple as pie.
Another benefit of using an external wide angle lens is that you get to shoot RAW. Currently, Apple hasn't added support for that on their Ultra Wide. Btw, should we expect Moment Wide V3? The sample photos seem to have more blurry edges this year, than the Xs. I'd love if you can eliminate the blurred edges by 99% at lest.
Images shot using the built-in ultra wide camera create slight distortion, even obvious in video recording. Hence, an external lens is very much appreciated for better photography and filmmaking.

Hi Moment! Really been following your progress since you wanted to pull off those first lenses.. cant and haven't use your lenses though yet. But I would love too. What I was really willing to do with the great implementation of dual camera was in the pixel 3xl. There lenses is a bit far apart that you can put two separate lens mount if you have a camera mount for it.. seeing the separation when you zoom in and out of the camera app to see which camera your using. Its different from the pixel 3 since the 2 cameras are a bit closer.

yep! across all of our cases as long as it's the same mount, & unless your case is from pre-2017 than you're good. the most recent mount is M-mount, that's what this is showcased here.

@@moment There are other types of lenses that could've gone on the ultra wide. I would've liked to have the option to experiment. I wish there was a moment clip adapter so I can test moment lenses with other lenses and phones
I think you should make video about tele 58mm on iphone 11potrait mode. Because the potrait mode on iphone 11 slightly wider. If you use tele lens than you have a choice to make wide potrait (main lens) or potrait mode use the moment tele lens ( more compress and realistic picture). Thanks before moment.

Question: Putting a moment 18mm lens on the main iPhone 1,8 lens will result in what effective aperture? I mean your 18mm lens certainly is not f1.0? If it is let's say f2, you get 1,8 + f2 = slower than effective 2,4 (original iPhone ultra WA lens)? Or do I make a mistake?

It's not a draw at all, only because the sensor is much better for the built wide lens and crappier in built in ultra wide. So even though you might lose (I doubt you would lose much) light with 18mm lens, you get to use the sexy sensor of their wide cam, which if you have not used it yet, it's pretty incredible!
Great video and she's adorable. I shoot fashion/glamour portraits and almost always use an 85mm, not usually a fan of wide angle portraits as they can easily distort features in an unpleasant way, but these looked really good. Considering the 18mm after I pick up the 58mm now, thanks.
I am using 18, 58 and anamorphic on an Xs Max-likely will upgrade when 12 Pro comes next year.. My question is can you use any Moment lens on that second lower lens? My understanding is the second is the ultra wide so Moment lenses aren’t meant for the Ultra Wide (looking at the case for the 11).
You did a great job doing all that by yourself and you look good with the make up. I think you should do more photo shoots just like that but with different color backgrounds

purchased the Moment Bluetooth Remote based on this video, arrived fairly quickly but it will absolutely not pair with my iphone 11! It's not the phone as I tried different devices to pair and they all paired just fine! Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts? I turn it on and the light blinks but no pairing, I have held the button down but nothing, am I missing something?

My curiosity is dying to know what would happen if you put the Moment Wide on top of the iPhone Ultra Wide, even if there's no difference.
Not possible! Optically, it doesn't work, which is why there isn't a mounting point on the ultra-wide camera.

I no longer find a need to upgrade from my iPhone X. If a want optimal image quality I would still have to rely on the wide lens.
