Great little series guys. My partner and I just watched them all. I'm a videographer and I thought you guys did a great job with the way you layered each episode. You kept the story moving the whole time and it was great to watch. A couple of questions for you: How often has your 4x4 system actually had a work out in your travels? What do you think you need more of in the bus? (E.g storage space, power, tools etc) and do you guys earn money as you go or did you save a whole bunch before you left home? The Mrs and I are hitting the road next year, likely in a bus so would love some feedback. Keep going guys, the videos are great.
Legends this is the best feedback thank you so much for watching. The encouragement helps a lot! Especially knowing you're a videographer haha. Could definitely pick your brain!
Excited for you guys. It will change your lives! 4wd had had a lot of workouts for us. Reaching beaches mainly, and a lot of corrugated roads which regularly vehicles can't access. Well worth it to us especially in WA. Good question on what we need more of, we have just rebuilt the bus. Definitely needed more storage. We wanted a smaller kitchen, bigger living/work space. Also wanted a toilet shower but that's just a luxury. We work online running businesses from our laptops! Also saved around 10k each when we first left.
Make sure your space is ergonomic too. It's really not ideal to have a bad night's sleep, a cracked neck or anything like that. If you can stand and sit comfortably it'll make a big difference to you same with making sure you have fans/cooling. Don't skimp on your awning/mattress. And if you're doing a build yourself get good insulation and block out curtains!!
Really been loving your channel guys ❤️ so well filmed and edited. Can’t wait to explore WA. We haven’t been vet but that’s going to have to change. Have a great day!
Guys, that is the best feedback to get! We love UA-cam. Very passionate about sharing more here so thank you so much for watching and encouraging us. :) WA needs to be high on your list, glad we can help convince you. It is a wonderful place to travel by road. Don't miss our highlight: Karijini, and the Gibb River Road.
Hey Dave thanks so much! 😊 Haha yep that's right. We have a very loud transfer case. In the new build we have done a heap of sound proofing to fix this.

Hi guy's enjoying your travels, are you wearing headphones because of the cabin noise while driving? Cheers

@@saltandcharcoal had the same issue with a Landrover defender turned out it needed a transfer case rebuild, happy travels cheers
Do you guys use Hema 4 x 4 map or something else?
Hey guys! We do have a Hema map but never really use it. Google maps and Google Earth is our best friend.
