Located in the heart of AOC Saint-Emilion Classified Grand Cru, this small boutique winery spans 5.7 hectares of land and is owned by Axelle and Pierre Courdurié. The vineyard is 100% organic and biodynamic, and the winemaking is overseen by Axelle herself, who brings her feminine sensibility to the wines of Croix de Labrie with great attention to detail.
In this video, we'll be tasting the 2020 Croix de Labrie Grand Cru Classe, a blend of 92% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine reveals a deep ruby garnet color with violet reflections, and on the nose, you'll discover a multi-faceted and luxurious bouquet of ripe black cherries, cassis spice, toasted plums, licorice, pipe tobacco, and violet perfume.
On the palate, expect a concentrated and silky texture with vibrant flavors of blue and black berries, mineral notes, and a sublime astringency. This beautifully crafted wine is medium-bodied and rich, with superb purity and a structured, spicy, and long finish.
Join me on this virtual tour of Château Croix de Labrie and discover the exceptional wines that capture the essence of the AOC Saint-Emilion Classified Grand Cru.

I was lucky enough to try a bottle of Chateau Ausone from Saint Emilion a few years ago and it was one of the best wines I've ever had. This video definitely does justice to the region's amazing wines.

Yes, of course Chateau Ausone is top and belongs to the Premier Grand Crus. But Saint Emilion offers an immense variety of true wine treasures and Château Croix de Labrie is a superb example of this.

Your tasting was wonderfully conveyed and so charming. Just have one question, what kind of glass is this? It looks very appealing.

Where are you getting these wines? I live in Texas and sometimes I have to go to multiple stores just to find what I'm looking for. Is there a great online importer of wines that you can recommend?
