Another cool tip is to do any 180 shove flip by doing the 360 version of the trick but catching early (manual catch) e.g: varial heel as laser flip and also applying the directional flip inputs, it looks SO different.
Right? I've been messing with this too. Regular varial flip version + 180 = horrible looking and a bail. Tre flip + 180 = perfect big flip. Especially with the side pop and boning or rocketing the flip, ITS CRISP.
damn, came here to chill and watch some skating but ended up getting educated on an issue I've been having since coming back to the game - anytime I trick into a slide my board was dipping and I wanted it to point up more, didn't realise the flick direction would help so much haha thanks
Ive been noticing the differences aswell with the way you flick affecting the tricks. Ive also noticed you can change the look of the tricks depending on which foot you catch the board with. Aswell as how you were saying you can bone tricks out
Suoer cool seeing session content made towards newer players still, I know I've been playing long enough an gotten comfortable enough with the game that when I introduce new people I forget to think about how intimidating stuff like the stats menu and controls can be to new people and just how confusing stuff that seems simply to me can be for others who are new to session
Flick angle can make ur grind entry smoother depending on if ur nose/tail is up/down etc Also popping ur ollies fast makes them boned and popping them slow rockets them
Also you can increase/decrease "board control extra pitch" (located in the advanced settings), to help you calibrate the angle of boned/rocket flips depending on your game style, once found your perfect config, tricks feel smoother. I use it on 14. Cheers pigeonthief, great content, i got some session clips compilation on my youtube channel for the people who enjoy realistic style gameplays. See ya.
Took me ages to fine tune my session settings got it to look really boned and steezy, you can also kinda control your legs in the air like tres you can kinda hang your back foot back if you put trigger down or if you bone it backwards quickly, same with hardflips if you bone it backwards
Random question completely unrelated to the video but since it’s your most recent I’ll comment it anyway. Have you ever tried to complete the historical challenges because I’ve just completed the missions and I need something else to do. it seems like a lot of them are buggy and don’t complete when you’ve actually done the trick?
Can you make a quick tutorial on how to combo grinds the way you did at 13:37 I guess I understand the concept but the way you made it look was awesome!
Already showed how I do combo grinds in my “How to make Session feel so much better” video, check it out: ua-cam.com/video/ds-uOya5iew/v-deo.htmlsi=zfo_CYhEsSEcgd_H
do you have mods that affect how the animation looks because no matter what i try i can never get my session to look like yours it might be because i play goofy and ive noticed how goofy and regular have actually very different animtations
I cant remember which setting it is but theres a certain setting you have to turn on to make tricks look different when you flick more upwards or downwards, i wish i could tell you which one it is but i cant remember.
Playing Goofy in this game is not recommended. The game does not have any goofy dominant animations, when you play Goofy, all of your tricks are gonna be done the same as if you're Switch on Regular.
Here are things that might make vanilla session look better if you don't have these enabled already 1. Skater physical animation - removes the janky ass arm movements during tricks and replaces it with a physical simulation of the arms. It makes it a totally different game Board control extra pitch - makes dipping and rocketing the Board while flipping more exaggerated Board control extra scoop - makes shuvs more angled horizontally/left and right after you use side pop Pop Board to body distance - makes the Board closer to or farther from your feet when doing a fliptrick. More importantly, it makes the leg animations look either more loose and laid back, or more aggressive and stompy.
@@The.Almighty.Daltonious None of these problems fix the issue of Goofy being literally Regular Switch from an animation perspective. That cannot be fixed till the Session devs mirror the Regular dominant animations properly so that Goofy actually exists in the video game.
Bro session was good when i started but once i started doing clips and stuff i noticed how buggy the game really is my shoes go thru my pants n shit the details really suck once u start to pay attention
Can you do a video on where you get your outfits from because when I look in the mod manager store I can never find any of the stuff you have on in the vids and there isn't really that much stuff
it would be so nice if creature could care for their console players cos every single thing is so wonky and bugged and every single clip i make looks so bad because nothing is smooth on console
the game is exactly the same as on pc, its the player thats the factor for smoothness and that sometimes requires you to redo a trick like 5 times to get it as smooth as you want. just like IRL

Have you tried Creature park, change it to nighttime? The park map is so much better 🙌🏻
Great video I learn something new every time I watch you
I'll definitely be submitting some clips in the discord
I'm old, but I might figure it out if I have time.

Reload the map. A lot of bails stop the challenge from popping.
It helps with the manuals so good 🤘🤘
8:30 bro you should definitely do a video on skating transition
not really implemented in game yet
