I started researching and learning about different religions, judaism buddhism paganism ifa santeria palo vodu candomble etc. In search of common denominators and I have to say their are a lot of similarities in each. But I found that santeria was the best fit for me. Its helped me understand myself as well as helped me build a better relationship with god. But I do have to say it is very hard to find people that are true to the traditions as well as actually using the religion for what its suppose to be used for and not to get what they want or to perform magic that's not what santeria is about but unfortunately there are people that mix it with other things when it's not suppose to be mixed
